It looks cool, but there are things that look off to me compared to what I see in the PGF. Having never seen one, I can't say, just my artistic impressions from buildin' a profile over the years from reports an of course the PGF. Sasquatch stuff starts about 2:00.1 point

I'm trying to study what I'm seeing regarding Patty. I've looked up another photo because even though I've claimed a bunch of times that Patty was a hottie the recreation appears to give the model quite the relatively curvy looking waistline. The video shows a boxier look to the torso. The model's breasts look slightly too low and the hands too big with too much hair. Something mildly wrong with the head too. Maybe a bit too elongated- somewhat narrower looking. Would like to compare these observations to anything your have, Norseman. And if I may add? Too much of a neck showing with not enough general muscle tone in the pectorals and thigh areas. The whole thing, as good as this guy is, is a bit off. One last thing to add. This is a professional taxidermist. Wonder just how long it took to make the suit covering the mold.1 point

The focus is on the Sasquatch recreation!!! I added the others to give us a measuring stick by which to judge it by. Obviously in your case that does no good because you have bought into some grand anthropology conspiracy theory and would rather listen to some nut job from Australia that wouldn't know a femur from a frickin door stop. Your choice, but I expected better from you. Anyhow can we get back to the topic at hand?1 point

No way. Anyway you spin this the Danny Vendramini hypothesis is nothing more than kool aid drinking tin foil wearing retardedness with ZERO evidence to back any of it up. If you want to discuss his madness start your own thread. As far as Lucy being a direct human ancestor? Maybe, maybe not...........but as a UPRIGHT walking African hominid? She is certainly somewhere in the bushy Homo or pre Homo family tree. Is Sasquatch in the same family tree or is it something else?1 point

Do you mean the crackpot that claims Neanderthals had cat like eyes with slits for irises?!!!! Her face looks lighter in the picture.1 point

IMO, another form of desensitization comes with BF groups that evolve to the point they feel compelled to keep the excitement/buzz going and begin to create a false narrative via discovery/report du jour behaviors. Such has been observed with a couple groups operating in this state leading to (IMO) a dramatic diminishment in their overall relevance to the subject matter. IMO, ego(s) and dollars seem to be the foundation for the undoing of such groups and with this being endemic within these type of groups, small wonder they seem to collapse under their own weight.1 point

Believe me, I understand "anthropological consensus." With the appearance of the Miocene apes, the level of squabbling within the anthropological community gets really nasty. Which Miocene ape were the antecedents of the gorillas, chimps, gibbons, and finally, humans? They suggest there were over a hundred to choose from that lived in the Old World, but none lived in the New World. Although there were some monkees in South America. I mean, how could so many variants finally be whittled down to just the four main groups we have today? The 3 types of chimps, 2 types of gorillas, 2 types of orangutans, and 4 types of gibbons? Is it possible that someone made a mistake in determining there were 100 types, and maybe there were just 50? 20? The curse of the field of anthropology, as in many fields - fame means money, power, and status. Careers depend on making big discoveries or naming a new species. This is why we have such a wide array of wannabe humans, pre-humans, could-be humans, and maybe-some-day-would be humans. Entire species have been declared and determined by minor variances in the cusp of teeth. Not entire jaws with teeth - just a tooth here and there. They consistently twist and struggle to use any clever, or roundabout way - to be interpreted as a "new species." So, they work very hard to suggest that when on the ground, the Miocene apes walked erect - but when they took to the trees a few minutes later, they brachiated and climbed to the tops of the trees. Problem is - anthropologists don't want to let the Miocene apes walk erect. Now, back to your Lucy and her story. Her bones were millions of years old, and scattered on the surface. The bones of her "family" were likewise scattered all over the area - yet they really don't match up - although anthropologists said they were of the same family. They had one obvious problem: extreme sexual dimorphorism. In other words, Lucy was a little bitty thing - representative of the female. The males would have been six feet tall, as an adolescent was about 5'6" tall, and it is reasonable to assume he would have reached a full 6-foot height as an adult. If these clowns weren't so desperate to connect these together, it would be clear to an independent third party that there was the bones of at least two species intermingled. Sometimes, these guys will attribute a more modern bone fragment to a more primitive skull - and they were separated by fifty yards. Lucy's hip is not in reality anything like a bipedal hip. Looking head-on with a chimp and human, yes, Lucy's more broad iliac looks more like a human than a chimp. BUT. Viewed with the hip socket facing the viewer, it's narrow like a chimp - very narrow - and nothing like a human - but given to belong to a tree climber - similar to that of the orangutan. Perspective. Artistic perspective. Front-on, looks like one thing. Side-view, it will be something entirely different.1 point

Edit : G again, sorry, whilst we're on the subject here, if it's not too doffficult to implement this month by month chart, would it be easy enough to add a yearly chart also ? I think that would be highly beneficial too ? Norse, track ways, a lot lot vocals reports/knocks, never get a visual on the quarry Sir, yours included. Norse i see tens of millions of acres that aren't lit up in your map, in the east..;) Wish we could zoom on that and get some math.. Good zoom on this bad boy - https://www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/images/712129main_8247975848_88635d38a1_o.jpg1 point

The highest sighting number of the whole life of the graph for 50 states is roughly 50 in one month......50! The average is more like half that. And we know hoaxing is involved in this subject because Yahoos get hit by cars while dressed in suits. I do not know how to quantify that in these reports. But let's just say less than 25 reports a month for 50 states is legit....it's a pittenance. Who here still thinks we are dealing with a large viable breeding population of Bigfeets coast to coast? 20 reports per month x 12 months per year is 240. Divided by 50 states is 4.8 sightings per year per state. This is with roughly 320 million pairs of eyeballs doing the looking.........on foot, horseback, atvs, boats, planes, hot air balloons, trains, google earth, security cameras, game cams, USBP predator drones, military, CIA, NPS, state, county and city LE and wildlife agencies...... This is why I'm the small population, low density, extreme wilderness, avoids humans at all costs, nocturnal Bigfoot advocate. Its simply not logical in any other format.1 point

They completely showed their colors when they launched into the "we're bad-ass and everyone wants to be like us" in last week's episode. They're now on a level of Mountain Monsters crew. Now THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is entertainment.1 point

On the subject of the bones. I am of the opinion that we may have already found many examples that may be Sasquatch found all across the US. When discovered they were called giant humans. There were many newspaper reports about them up to the mid 1940's. After the mid 40's you hear nothing about them in the mainstream. You cannot find these bones now at the museums that the newspapers reported them being sent to. If they are Sasquatch they may have changed the way they bury thier dead so that we would not dig them up. 18 Giant Skeletons Unearthed in Lake Delavan, WI In May of 1912, an archeological dig overseen by Beloit College of more than two hundred effigy burial mounds near Lake Delavan on Lake Lawn farm unearthed eighteen bizarre skeletal remains of what appeared to be a lost race of giants. As originally reported in the May 4th, 1912 edition of the New York Times, the skulls of these seven to nine-foot skeletons were elongated, with protruding nasal bones and long, pointed jaw bones. This was not the first discovery of giant skeletons buried in Wisconsin. Two Giant Skeletons Near Potosi, WI The January 13th, 1870 edition of the Wisconsin Decatur Republican reported that two giant, well-preserved skeletons of an unknown race were discovered near Potosi, WI by workers digging the foundation of a saw mill near the bank of the Mississippi river. One skeleton measured seven-and-a-half feet, the other eight feet. The skulls of each had prominent cheek bones and double rows of teeth. A large collection of arrowheads and “strange toys” were found buried with the remains. Giant Skeleton Discovered in Maple Creek, WI On December 20th, 1897 the New York Times reported that three large burial mounds had been discovered near Maple Creek, WI. Upon excavation, a skeleton measuring over nine feet from head to toe was discovered with finely tempered copper rods and other relics. Giant Skeleton in West Bend, WI A giant skeleton was unearthed outside of West Bend near Lizard Mound County Park and assembled by local farmers to a height of eight feet. More about this can be found in Washington County Paranormal: A Wisconsin Legend Trip by local author and investigator J. Nathan Couch. While a normal-sized skeleton of a supposed mound builder (the “Princess of Aztalan”) is on display at the site of several large pyramidal monuments near Madison called Aztalan State Park, the goliath remains of Wisconsin’s giants have vanished along with the hundreds of others discovered throughout the midwest. Many have accused the Smithsonian Institution of covering up these discoveries, locking the giant skeletons away and depriving the public of their findings.1 point

I certainly wouldn't advise anyone else to do this, but--------. Seven years ago, some of my Bigfooting Buds talked me into sharing what little I know about the subject animals on an Arkansas Hunting forum, "Arkansas Hunting.Net". The State does have a very good population of the things, and I just wanted to share a bit of info about them and their habits and traits. The thread I started on January 7, 2010 has now been viewed 800,708 times, with 17,900 replies. Of course many of the replies during the first couple of years were from skeptics. During the last five years I have been inundated with Personal Mail and phone calls from a LOT of folks that KNEW, but kept their encounters to themselves and family members. During the the past two months some Buds have had some real fun with BF in the Ozarks, and down south in Ouachita Count. I shared those with the members, now a lot of them are eager to hit the woods with us, It's fun for us all.1 point

No pictures or videos will ever be accepted as proof. I have seen as we all have compelling pictures and videos. Not just the Patterson film. To be truly accepted by science and the general public only a specimen will do. To answer the question, I would say the countless number of hoaxes have affected the legitimacy of the subject.1 point

And I agree with that Gig, but ultimately it's always going to be a guy in a suit with a vast majority of people who cannot fathom a creature like this existing out there.1 point

The scream was so loud and so bizarre my brain could not really process what was happening. After about 30 seconds of listening to it I eventually settled on banshee as the best words I could use to describe it even though I have no idea what a banshee scream is suppose to sound like. Honestly, I have heard nothing in real life or even in the movies other than maybe the Nazgul in Lord of The Rings comes close.1 point

Considerably. Several thoughts here in no particular order: The first night of camp visits in Aug 2011 included two apparent wood knocks. The first was slightly "mushy" as if punky wood rather than solid wood were hit. The second was a more "ringing" rap as from solid wood on solid wood. There are also rock clacks to consider. One of my friends, the guy who took me on that camping trip, says that he's heard a lot more anomalous rock clacks than wood knocks over the years out there. Some wood knocks may be hand claps, not wood on wood. Some of the rock clacks may be "tongue pops" ... I can make them. MIB1 point

^^^ There are published accounts of these two events circulating around the web. The Rogers county property has been dormant of Sasquatch activity for ~5 years, IMO due in part to the massive residential development that has taken place in the immediate area along with the belligerent actions (read: gunfire) of the last BF group to operate there. The landowner no longer allows Sasquatch "hunting" on the property.1 point
