  1. Any of us who have an interest in this topic from the UK know the idea that Sasquatch resides in the UK is nonsense. As a Scotsman I've been lucky enough to hike and camp some of the remotest parts of my beautiful country. There simply is no inkling or indicators that there is anything which may remotely be thought to be anything like a hominid wandering these lands. Not to say we don't have anomalies. I was lucky to have a big cat sighting just over 10 years ago now. The UK is certainly home to these beasts but these are more of the displaced variety rather than the undiscovered type that floats our boat on this forum. Good luck to young Dan. It's pretty heartwarming to read about his interest and his search. I'm sure the subject will bring him much joy and wonder in the years to come.

  2. I would both expect that response and accept it as true, because if, for example, a post commander at Ft. Lewis some 60 years or so ago wanted to know what was going on on his post with these crazy reports from his soldiers and had one of these creatures shot, I do not believe he or the commanding general would send the carcass to the Smithsonian. The issue would officially die just like that particular sasquatch (heck, the order to figure out what was happening wasn't even "official")...........but among certain circles, there would be conversations. This is how things remain secret, as opposed to covered up, which tends to be an illegal act purposely cloaked over in conspiracy among the guilty parties.

  3. Zoo keepers are in close proximity to several animals that use infrasound: Elephants, Giraffes, Rhinos, and Hippos. A Google search of zoo keeper activity might be in order. Humans have been swimming with whales for a long time. Captain Ahab got too close. The clicking noises of marine mammals don't appear to be harmful. The largest whales and Navy sonar can kill / injure. 'Currently known animals': Rock stars with towering walls of speakers cause hearing damage.

  4. The flocks of green parrots are an issue across the entire US because, 1 they aren't parrots so the classification is incorrect and creates ideas that tropical species can survive in temperate climates and 2 they build mud nests around power substations and cause over heating and subsequent outages. I've also had to work with legislation surrounding that species of Australian parakeet. While Daniel does have autism he's extremely high functioning and you wouldn't notice it unless you work with kids who have autism as a mentor (I do as a volunteer which is why I took interest with Daniel's unique find). Just getting outside and enjoying nature and learning about what is actually around him is therapeutic and he's enjoying it. Forcing his mind to stop and take everything in and process the data, he's a kid having fun and accidentally stumbled upon something that shouldn't be there.
