Yes, lots of film. Film never went away. Kodak is working 24/7. Kodak stumbled and fell and the remnants are making products. The purchase of used film cameras is popular with persons who don't want a 'digital' look. Polaroid, the original selfie, went away and has returned. Why use film? Simply because film use avoids the accusations of images created / modified by artificial intelligence. In camera image capture locks the image into the film via 'chemical memory'. Done deal. The film has to be scanned into a digital format. Accusations of AI will fly regarding the digital scanning but the film is the master record and will trump the whiners. There are a lot of comments about electronic devices and the sensitivities of animals & humans. Mechanical cameras eliminate the 'electronic' factor. Worked for a couple cowboys in 1967. There is very little red light under the forest canopy. Use black & white film stocks. Easier archival preservation and one must play grey scales like stops on an organ. Yes, the size of the organ is everything. Film is truth at 24 frames per second.

Episode 2 she had a microscope at base camp and was identifying hairs from her samples. That way she doesn't send in deer hair (known species) for sampling. Smart.

When I read the name, I drew a blank. He has an IMDb page, is an 'expert' and writes books. Awesome. The term 'film' was used. Infrared film has been out of production for many years. People hoard film in deep freezers. Time will tell. Infrared and false color infrared film need light sources. Infrared film can be used in daylight and at night with auxiliary lighting. We know so well that Sasquatch avoid lights. False color infrared film is a daylight film. Currently, one can buy 400' of 16mm false color IR film for $3,500.00 off of ebay. Poorly stored 35mm IR film is also available on ebay. The caveat for 'the bunch of researchers' is who is going to develop the film? The developing question brings up the old 'damaged in processing failure'. The question is, what film did they use? There is a positive note about 'the bunch of researchers'. They are their own producers, directors, cinematographers and sound guys so that means they can blow smoke up their own asses. I am not being mean. We have seen the 'wait for it' posts before. Social media activity instead of being quiet, completing the work and then presenting a finished product.

If a reality TV show allows a real scientist to be in the field applying science to the myth of Bigfoot? 🤷‍♂️ What do we have to lose? I would prefer this to Bobo dressing up as a woman to attract Bigfoot. Or howling into the night. Or wood knocking. Or blurry photos. Dr. Mireya Mayor is a real primatologist, who has discovered real primates, and she has the field experience to get to the bottom of this IF anyone can.
