Guest
From Tom Yamarone's site: "Since the last time we updated things here several notable people have decided to attend this historic gathering: Al Hodgson of Willow Creek, Igor Burtsev from Russia and Adrian Erickson from British Columbia." Anyone close enough to go to the Sasquatch Summit in B.C.? It starts April 9th. It'd be an ideal time to ask Mr. Erickson some questions. Maybe he'll even have a preview of the project? Don't tempt me.. Spontaneous, 9,000 mile round trips have been done before & i am getting my itchy feet which generally means a Plane has my name on it.. Guest
If anyone's still interested in who Matilda's artist was, this is what it states at the bottom of the "contact" page. "Artwork provided by: Arlet DeVisser" Here's a link I found while searching her. http://www.regalridge.com/media/newsletters/files/The.View.V5i1-r4_FINAL_-_Email.pdf
Guest
If the above link doesn't work for any reason, just do a yahoo search for Arlet DeVisser, and it should be the first link. (It's a PDF file) Edited March 7, 2011 by Efrum
Guest
I've got to say, if the EP results are the turning point in public and scientific acceptance, you couldn't ask much more for a dignified and thorough way of doing it. Tying together the different strings of information, including meeting with Dennis Pfohl last summer for a short time, I'm pretty encouraged, even if the results fall short of general acceptance. I've always imagined that acceptance would hinge on some accidental finding with all sorts of ad hoc rushing around and stumbling over each other after wards. This is much better. Guest
This is posted in hopes Mr. Erickson will see. It is the actual quote by Mr. Standing. Mr. Erickson being an outdoorsman, he should recognize the lack of common sense present in the statement. This is just one of many to follow by Mr. Standing. It is very difficult. And again i did it in the winter, for summer the whole look of the landscape is changed. Rock formations that where there before are now cover by trees with leaves and tall grass. Even besides all that the entrance into sylvanic is facing inward towards the mountain so if you walked right by it you would not see it. In other words if by chance you where to walk right past it you would never see it. For some reason, I could never wrap my mind around a 2' X 2' hole that transports you a mile or so under a chain of mountains to the other side. Someone has a very colorful imagination Mr. Erickson. Wheellug
I recall reading the description before from Todd Standing. It made me think of Edgar Rice Burroughs stories of hidden valleys, monsters and what not. If he had to come up with some fantastical description that it was a hidden valley, only accessible by a tunnel.. I understand why Todd Standing is standing alone on this one.. What's the part of the quote before that PT ?? I wonder if it explains why he was looking for what he was as i find it strange anyone would say such a thing just randomly ?? He may well have just said it randomly, ( in which case......... ) but i'd like to see what was before what you quoted anyway if possible ?? Someone has a very colorful imagination Mr. Erickson. Well some caves have small entrances, and some go all the way through mountains, so not sure how imaginative that is. I guess it has to do with BF being on the other side that it gets fantastical. Not that I'm taking up for Standing but, if he's turned in viable biological samples then good for him. Guest
As far as I can recall SY, he never once called it a 'cave' or 'tunnel', the readers usually surmised that. He always said 'hole'. So how would that make sense? We're talking quite the monumental spelunkers trip in itself for a cave that long. And only a single picture of a person with his head behind a rock. BobbyO, it was always in his description on how he found the entrance to Sylvanic. Here's the specific source of that early paragraph and the original thread of his travels. Don't want to turn this into a Sylvanic thread tho, but felt it related given the connection made.
Guest Fanofsquatch
If I recall correctly Standing said anyone wishing to make the trip with them into Sillyvanic "Will probably die" because it is such a brutal hike and dangerous place. We may be over estimating Ericksons connection if any to Standing. It may be just a naive webmaster who mentioned a guy who is seeking protection for bigfoot and Erickson said great put up a link. It looks to me like the web page is not getting a lot of attention from the project they just put it up and left it.

That's not a million miles from where my head on it is, only thing i would have thought though was someone in the circle would be aware of Standing & the stuff prior & given them the heads up & then AE would have it taken off, which hasn't happened up to now.. Guest Sallaranda
If Erickson has enough video, audio, and physical (DNA) evidence to prove the existence of Sasquatch why would he care what websites he promotes? Perhaps he is just trying to mock Todd Standing. A way of saying, "look at these hoaxers who made my job so much more difficult. Now go look at his website then come back and look at mine. This isn't a hoax. This is the real deal." You guys are looking way too far into this. Has anyone actually watched the footage that Todd Standing claims to be legit? It's so laughable. There's really no attempt at making convincing footage. He's just having fun, I honestly don't think he expects people to take him seriously.
