Xion Comrade Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) So after we acknowledge their exsitence they are just going to step forward and let all that stuff happen. I am being sarcastic I know but I'm sure you get my point. We can't even get a decent picture. If it comes back human DNA unless theres some great back up all ya got is some human DNA found back in the woods thats not going to cut it IMO but I guess we shall see soon enough......I hope! Exactly, hoping they are left alone is wishful thinking at best! It is against human nature to leave ANYTHING alone XD One thing is for sure, I hope they videotape the hunting, because it sure would make for a good horror film O.o WOuld remind me of a good movie, Dog Soldiers....Think I'll watch it right now Edited April 13, 2011 by Xion Comrade
Guest Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 If BF is human, we will have a lot of football recruiters roaming the woods looking to hand out scholarships.
Guest ajciani Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Except that they could never fit in with society, let alone understand the game. That is correct and this is where linguists experts who study this phenomena come into to play. If the child does not have the tools imprinted by a VERY young age, they can never learn language and other skills... never. Its proven. This is a well known Dr in this field whom I've been lucky enough to know for the past 25 years http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Berko_Gleason She knows her stuff! I hope once this is all out in the open that we do not try to interfer and let them be. Why let them be? Why not put a TV out in the woods playing programing for two year olds? I can just see the baby bigfoots collecting around the TV and learning to speak. What would happen if we showed them a diagram or time lapse of seeds growing, and provided them some seeds to plant? Would they take the seeds and plant them?
Guest Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Yeah, and they might accidentally step on a few heads, and well the results might not be too good.
Guest Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Guys, Bigfoot is something *between* mankind and the Ape species. It's not human, but not totally ape either, IMVHO. However, I think the DNA may show some human markers, but it's not totally human either. They don't have speech, do they? Do they have or build fires? Do they create structures of some sort that is habitable for them to seek shelter from the elements? I do believe that they may mark their own Territory's to keep other alpha males from encroaching on their area. I don't believe that they have a written word, nor language, they do not make nor use fire, however, they do communicate by wood knocking and yowls/howls. I so sincerely look forward to having this creature documented to protect it, however, I will personally miss the mystery of BF.

LOL World's strongest man, renamed to world's strongest pink-man...Shoot in football all they would have to do is walk forward, even the whole opposing team wouldn't be strong enough to take one down >.<
Guest Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 They don't have speech, do they? That would depend on who you ask Susiq2. A lot of people believe they do based on the recordings made. And yeah, SierraSounds being some of them. They don't seem to talk like we do however. So what if they turn out to be in early human development? Say a holdover in so called evolution from a million years ago? Does that make them human nonetheless? This is where it gets tricky.

Guest Bigfoot Proof Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 They do have speech just not our type of linguistics, they are only taught what their parents know, yet they communicate and survive better than any of us could out there. That's a major accomplishment itself. Seems to me they don't need fire and they do create shelters... I guess I'm missing the point, this defines being genetically human? I'm with you on the mystery, its always better...
Guest bsruther Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Maybe the military would breed them, to make a race of super soldiers. Planet of the apes, prophesied.
Guest Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 They don't have speech, do they? Erickson says he believes they do. It's on the F.A.Q. page of the website. WOuld remind me of a good movie, Dog Soldiers....Think I'll watch it right now LOVE that movie! I was stoked when it came out on BluRay! I could see a squatch grabbing a shotgun from someone and firing it right back at them!

However, Don't we have accounts of them throughout history as being just as they are now? Remember the Yeti stories, and all my life I've heard about "wild men" around the world, and then we do have the PGF. Truly, they do seem as if they are above Ape, but below human..IMVHO. Remember the ape that learned the alphabet? She was not considered human but still an ape. I think that they are clearly animals, and very intelligent,But not human kind. They don't have fire nor tools that we know about.

Before fire, human's could eat raw beef without worries. Now, odds are we'd be sick in bed for a week if we ate beef right off the back of a cow. As far as temperature control goes, the thick fur of a Bigfoot may not be enough to survive cold winters at higher altitudes. Fire would still serve as an effective survival tool. I wouldn't be surprised if Bigfoot had already discovered fire, but utilized it to a much lesser degree.
Guest Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Honestly, How could someone call Patty almost human? Would you say "Human Like, or a human subspecies? They don't talk, but do howl, sorta'. I'm just too confused with conflicting ideas of my own! Yikes, See you guys in the morning..
Xion Comrade Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Honestly, How could someone call Patty almost human? Would you say "Human Like, or a human subspecies? They don't talk, but do howl, sorta'. I'm just too confused with conflicting ideas of my own! Yikes, See you guys in the morning.. If Patty doesn't look human, then nothing does tbh. Not only the body shape, but the face also. I don't see how anyone could see it otherwise. As a matter of fact, it looks more human than many humans I have seen XD Susiq apparently they do talk, according to audio files from several different sources, natives, and other accounts...Apparently it is a very rare thing to hear, and typically only in a relaxed setting(IE when people are not around/feared) The Sierra Sounds have never been debunked, and have in fact only gained legitimacy over time IMHO via other previous accounts. No person on this board, I say with confidence, would know how to make fire in the woods without having either first seen it done or been taught, we are pretty blank without a proper raising. Seeing as how they are constantly on the move, have such demanding bodies, and that there are very few places that could sustain them for long periods of time for many reasons, I would say that things like fire houses and tools are just totally unpractical to them or any other critter living likewise. Would you want to carry around a spear all day every day? I wouldn't. I can sure as hell tell you that if I had the choice of killing something with a knife or my bare hands(Realistically) I would jump all over the opportunity to use my hands just for the entertainment and gameness of it, as big as the Forest Giants are, I am sure they have PLENTY of moxie to go around!
