masterbarber Posted July 21, 2011 Admin Share Posted July 21, 2011 Since there seem to be no recent updates, I thought I would post a couple of links to previous blog entries by DB Donlon (formerly the Blogsquatcher) with his take on the alleged Kentucky habituation and footage aspects of this project. http://dapht.blogspo...abituation.html http://dapht.blogspo...hing-again.html
Guest
Sasky, since you're involved with this... can you tell us about the footage? How many clips are included in the documentary? How good are they compared to the Patterson Gimlin footage?

Guest ajciani
I recently heard a rumor that a press conference or something like that is imminent, and should happen in the next week. I heard another rumor that a conference had been scheduled for last week, but was put off because of something between Hersom and Erickson. And I heard another rumor that there was going to be a press conference, and then they decided to let the lawyers have one last look over everything. I might add, this was a rumor partially fueled by the Sierra killings story. Anyway, if Ketchum's paper was accepted (passed peer review) back in May, then we should be seeing that published very soon, so the rumors may be at least partially true. Anything true about these rumours? Come on, give us some update. It just can't be that you can't talk about anything. How long is this going to take? Weeks, months, years? Guest
This is what I have always thought as well as a squatch could get hit by a truck at any moment and blow all of their projects out of the water. "Bigfoot is Real!" with the body all over CNN and Fox News as well as all the networks; then Erickson can chime in and say "Oh yeah look at this DNA I've been sitting on for 5 years and here's video of a live one peaking around a tree from 100 yards and oh yeah here is the first thermal of as bigfoot from 4 years ago that nobody has ever seen." Would the value of the projects in question be decreased if a sasquatch was hit by a car prior to the release? I would say yes although they would need to get them out fast after acceptance of existance to recover at least 80% of what the value would have been. JMHO A body will trump the isolated non-specific DNA being necessary. Take DNA from the body and compare it with collected DNA to authenticate previous DNA to prove the species since we would have a body to work off of. Do we know if there is a body recovered? That would be hard to keep quiet. Thankfully it seems that this project has a lot to work with regarding DNA samples. Guest Stubstad
Hi, Richard Stubstad here ... FYI, Erickson knows that without collaborating evidence, the video clips referred to above will not be of much value since -- especially today -- ANYTHING can be hoaxed or "photo-shopped". This is precisely the problem with even the P-G film from 1967: If we had some DNA evidence to go with it, it may have been proven or dis-proven in a very short period of time. Since we never will have DNA evidence for Patty of any kind, this footage will always be controversial. I believe that one or more DNA experts are working on some DNA evidence from Erickson's site(s); Adrian will of course not release anything until all the t's are crossed and the i's are dotted. This is NOT about the money. How could he ever recover 2.5 - 3.0 million $, even from the richest philanthropist in the world for this? Assuming as well that we can categorize sasquatch within the genus Homo, which may or may not interest a philanthropist anyway. I have seen some of the footage ... it will knock your socks off. No more details that that from me! Richard Stubstad

masterbarber Posted July 25, 2011 Admin Share Posted July 25, 2011 Richard, I only have one fairly benign question, which you may or may not know: Did the Erickson team film any of their own clear footage of these creatures?

I've been waiting my entire life to see something as fantastic as the PGF, and I am beyond ready to find out more about these creatures. When? When? Please tell me.. BTW, I hail from Alabama with close ties to Kentucky and Texas thanks to a son stationed there. Any place you may have evidence from will make me happy.. Please. Guest
Master Barber- It would seem to be that if you have the DNA and it is all OK and you try to tie it to a clip that may or may not be chopped , it would seem to be difficult. In other words you may need a body to say- OK this is what they look like, see it, feel it, touch it. The DNA just might only say that its from an unknown primate with out corraborating how tall, how much it weight, or simular physical attributes that go along with it. Maybe some one can help me with that one. ptangier
