New York 1881 - Mysterious Beast Near Florida (NY) - Tirademan!

[Trogluddite]

The original newspaper article posted by Tirademan in the initial New York Incidents or Field Observations thread at https://bigfootforums.com/topic/357-new-york-incidents-or-field-observations/page/3/#findComment-31113.  Both of his articles are reposted here to improve accessibility.

UPDATE 7 August 2025: Tirademan also found this article.  However, he uploaded it in the New Jersey Encounters thread, likely not realizing that the encounter itself occurred in New York.
