Vermont 1815 - Old Slipperyskin Chases Vermont Governor

Old Slipperyskin merits only three mentions in the Forums even though he harassed Roger's Rangers during their retreat from Canada, terrorized several towns in Vermont, and caused one gubernatorial candidate to lose an election.

UPDATE 28 August 2026: Adding a story from the The Post-Star of Glens Falls (NY), published on March 26, 1975, which encounters a more in-depth account of Governor Galusha's encounter with Old Slippryskin.
