Arkansas 1971/06/16 - More Fouke Monster Stories - Tirademan!

Everyone has heard of the Fouke Monster (I think).  These articles are posted to supplement those found by Tirademan.   

 

The Northwest Arkansas Times reported that official searches were ongoing on June 16, 1971.  The story was taken as seriously as a youth drowning in the Saline River.

 

 

 

Numerous newspapers, including The Hope (AR) Star, carried this Associated Press story about the large reward being offered for capture of the Fouke monster.  The stories were published around June 24, 1971.

 

 

Finally several papers carried the Associated Press story concerning trespassing monster hunters who were destroying farmers' crops.  These articles ran around June 29, 1971; this clipping is from The Sun of Jonesboro (AR).
