On June 1, 1967, the Humboldt Standard and the Humboldt Times merged, becoming the new Times-Standard.  The Times-Standard published an afternoon edition on weekdays and a morning edition, to be delivered no later than 7:00 AM, on Saturdays and Sundays (delivery schedule from the October 23, 1967 Times-Standard).  Ads had to be placed by 11:00 AM to be published in the next day's papers (deadline information from the October 19, 1967 Times-Standard).
