Pennsylvania 1920/12/30 - The Snyder County Gorilla Was Just Made Up Say Neighbors

Eventually, skeptics began to believe that Samuel Bolig made up the entire story.  An article in the Mount Carmel (PA) Item, published on December 30, 1920, declared that the Snyder County gorilla "was dead."
