The Minnesota Iceman was originally billed the Siberskoye Creature (i.e., the creature from Siberia).  Several papers from from August 1967 billed the appearance of this "creature" at the Wisconsin State Fair as a sideshow.  This story was published in the Regina Leader-Post on July 18, 1969.
