Oregon 1863 - Bandecootes, Cohogs, and Gorillas, Oh My!

All Oregon stories for the next few weeks were found on Ben Truwe's Southern Oregon History website's list of possible Bigfoot encounters at  https://truwe.sohs.org/files/bigfoot.html. The first story here is from the Oregon Sentinel of Jacksonville (OR) on March 21, 1863.  The second is from the same paper on April 8, 1863.
