Normally when I find a historical newspaper article regarding Bigfoot, I put them in a queue to be published at a later date - I've got articles loaded up through September.  However, this one is so good I wanted to push it out immediately.  I first heard about this article on the Southern Oregon History website (which may or may not be inactive) at  https://truwe.sohs.org/files/bigfoot.html.  This clipping was published on November 9, 1947 in The Sunday Oregonian.   Enjoy.
