Trogluddite Posted Saturday at 01:51 PM Posted Saturday at 01:51 PM (edited) According to the book The Making of Bigfoot. On August 16, 2002 Philip Morris first publicly claimed that he sold Roger Patterson the suit that ended up in the Patterson-Gimlin film on WBT-AM radio of Charlotte, North Carolina. Page 443 He. He also stated that he started telling people that the Patterson-Gimlin film was a hoax in the 1980s. Page 453. One friend recalled hearing his claims between 1976 and 1980 (page 454); another recalled that Mr. Morris was presenting lectures on this at magic conferences in May, 2003. Page 453. The earliest printed article including this claim I've found to date is a story about Greg Long's book in the Columbus (GA) Ledger-Enquirer on May 23, 2004. Edited Saturday at 05:23 PM by Trogluddite
