MIB Posted May 2, 2017 Moderator Posted May 2, 2017 (edited) Best guess ... infrasound. Check this out: Human brain waves Delta, 0.1 to 4 Hz. - deep meditation and dreamless sleep Theta, 4 to 8 Hz. - meditation and dream sleep Alpha, 8 to 14 Hz. - relaxed consciousness Beta, 14 to 30 Hz. - wide awake, alert Gamma, 30 to 50 Hz. - peak concentration Infrasound ... 0.1 to 20 Hz. Overlap!! There's some variation in where different "experts" consider various states' boundaries but the general idea is pretty common. I suspect that sufficiently powerful infrasound can cause an effect called brainwave entrainment. If so, modulating infrasound from short range should allow them to modulate our mental state. Essentially, forcing us into a theta state ... a waking trance. I think if they push us down to that 8-9 Hz range, we're awake but not alert. (Side note: I believe Randy ... SWWASAS ... was able to identify frequencies around 9 Hz in a recording.) That's the simplest explanation I have. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything in the literature regarding this being done and it's somewhat unethical to experiment on human subjects to verify my suspicions. (If anyone does find anything in the psychology / physiology texts, please let me know!) I'm open to other ideas. This is the only one I've found so far that seems to have some science behind it, doesn't take anything weird or woo, just things we already know about and have studied. MIB Edit to add .. some of this is a bit uncomfortable. I hate not being in control. I hate not even knowing control was gone until later, not remembering there is such a thing as control. I have some symptoms of PTSD now. I do not know if this is because of something horrible that has happened in this "mental mush" state that I've blocked out so far or if it is a result of fear from knowing I was no longer able to protect myself. Either one is equally possible. Edited May 2, 2017 by MIB
SWWASAS Posted May 2, 2017 BFF Patron Posted May 2, 2017 The frequencies I measured started at 3.4 HZ increased to 17.2 HZ at three seconds, then dropped back down to 7.7 HZ. All infra sound, none in the range of human hearing. During that encounter I felt pain in the gut, confusion, and fear. I wanted to get away from there as fast as I could. I was there to have contact with BF, knew I had, but wanted to get away as fast as I could. It was not until I walked about a mile that I wondered why I had wanted to leave. It was just not logical for me to leave when I knew a BF had to be nearby. I know the military has conducted experiments. The report I read, thought that the confusion and even nausea might be useful. However I am sure that they realized that friendlies were just as affected as potential enemy. Since the infra sound generator cannot be delivered like an artillery shell, there is no way to protect those that set it up and turn it on. It is non directional. When I was experiencing it, I had no idea where it was coming from. I was however at the edge of a timberline, so unless something outside that was invisible, the producer of it had to be in the timber. So friendly soldiers would be just as messed up as the enemy. My question has been, what got the military looking into infrasound? Was it because they had run into it by encounters with or capturing a BF?
MIB Posted May 2, 2017 Moderator Posted May 2, 2017 Right, the only way to control an infrasound weapon would be to remotely activate it which means leaving it where an enemy might capture it and use it on you later. My main partner in research has speculated that infrasound may merely be an amplifier of emotional state. Think about it ... where do we use infrasound deliberately? Electronic music (my daughter was a DJ for a while) and used infrasound in her tracks. Church organs with pipes big enough to generate infrasound seem to heighten the, er, religious experiences ... of the churchgoers, or so it is claimed. And in movies like horror flicks. In each case, the environment provides the emotional context, the infrasound merely seems to amplify it. Think about your own experience ... if you started out a little concerned or wary, infrasound amplifying that state would produce exactly the effects, other than gut pain, you just reported. Think about the details of the incidents Toby Johnson and Beth Heikennen reported on the hill above the London Trackway. Listen to how each of them talk anyway. Toby is fundamentally scared of bigfoot. He got hit with infrasound (maybe), he locked up ... paralyzed. Beth is quite calm and very deliberate ... it had no effect on her despite her almost carrying Toby out because she wasn't afraid, there was no emotion to multiply. It might be consistent with my experiences as well. If I was not entirely "present" because of some other thought I was processing, maybe it made me even less "present", less aware. Don't know for sure ... just a thought ... series of thoughts. Maybe it contradicts what I said before, maybe not. I'm not limited to a single paradigm as I view these things we don't understand, I look at each many ways hoping to find a best fit but always ready to change my mind if something new comes to the surface. SWWASAS Posted May 2, 2017 BFF Patron Posted May 2, 2017 Hollywood uses certainly uses infra sound in their movie sound tracks. You can hear the subwoofers kick in during the dramatic, scary or war scenes. You feel it in your body more than hear it, even in my home theater setup, but even more so in the movie theaters. Fast moving streams generate a lot from big rocks thudding together. Windmills, industrial plants, and large machinery like ships are known infra sound generators and environmental engineers are aware of the danger. I thought it interesting that during my encounter it was very similar to someone using sound to break wine glasses. The event started low then swept up the HZ scale as if the BF was trying to find my personal sweet spot to get the needed reaction from me. Just what a wine glass breaker will do to find the spot where the glass breaks with audible sound. If the desired effect was to get me to leave, it certainly worked. When I went back and analysed where I was and tried to figure out where I was relative to the producer of the infrasound, everything pointed to me being so close that the BF was likely just on the other side of a big log. There was a depression in the grass and vegetation pushed down. If I had stopped and looked around, I think I was just one or two of it's steps away, I might have seen it. At the time I really was confused as why the BF did that to me when my intent was just to continue on down the trail. I was oblivious to the fact that anything was anywhere near, so in my case fear amplification was not a factor until I felt the buzzing and pain in my body. Sometime I have to produce a transcript of the event. It is funny now listening to it. I shouted to the BF that I thought it neat that it was capable of doing that but to stop because it was very unpleasant for me. I told it that I was sad that its forest had been logged. After I said that, there were no more infra sound blasts. The recording suggests that there were at least 4 blasts up to that point. Each likely lasting about 4 seconds. like the best one I recorded. That they stopped was probably coincidence but since then, when I think they are around I talk to them. No idea if they understand a word but at least they know I know they are there, when I talk to them. I think my close proximity may have provoked some sort of self defense reaction on it's part. I was obviously armed. I think two people might react differently just because of physiological difference between the two humans. If someone had spent 20 years in the Navy, deep in the bowels of a ship, infra sound might be something they are very used to with little effect. Someone without that experience may react strongly to the same event. While infra sound is known to hug the ground and travel great distances, the wave form I recorded looks like a pressure wave, and the wave energy would drop off with the inverse square of the distance away from the producer. A distant gun shot produces pretty much the same wave form but it is a single pressure wave rather than a series of them passing at infra sound intervals. My theory is that they are produced by some sort of stuttering release of lung air, modulated by some structure in the airway. Possibly something like a powerful version of us clearing our throats.

Hmmmm ... never thought about that angle. You know how I am about connecting dots. You might have just handed me one. Thank you! MIB
Airdale Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Tim "Coonbo" Baker, a member here, has considerable experience with infra-sound, both in his professional engineering life and in dealing with "Boogers". The subject is discussed at length on Bigfoot Outlaws, Episode 31, parts 1 & 2, available here: https://www.facebook.com/bigfootoutlaws Scroll down the page to find the episodes.
dlaw Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 MIB, I know you think it's somewhat unethical to experiment on humans, but why not try it on these rioters and looters? Might be able to stop their illegal actions and research how ultrasound affects humans; sorta killing two birds with one stone.
Airdale Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Maybe we could find a Sasquatch that would like to moonlight a little bit, begin a second career as a human crowd control specialist.
SWWASAS Posted May 8, 2017 BFF Patron Posted May 8, 2017 (edited) The military has never had issues with using soldiers to experiment with. I recall being given some drug they thought would be useful to counteract the affects of chemical warfare agents just to see how well people tolerated it. I of course said it made me sick when I took the first pill. . Then there was the swine flu vaccine they gave us, that caused some people to get the disease. A month after the inoculations the stuff was banned by the FDA. The likelihood of serious complications from the vaccine was greater than the likelihood of getting swine flu. The military gives you a pep talk about how you need to volunteer to do this stuff for Country, Motherhood, apple pie, and the American way. So I am sure they had no problems getting volunteers to be exposed to infra sound. Edited May 8, 2017 by SWWASAS
