No. don't try to move the goal posts again. You said :

No, sir. I said to you:

"Listening to him, it seems clear to me he was neither misidentifying the animal (more than six feet tall, upright, black, etc.) or that it was a human in a suit (high-powered rifle, etc.). I want you to tell me what what kind of encounter you think this is. Is he lying? Or did he encounter what you say isn't real? Or something else?"

Left it pretty open for you. And then you said he was lying.

Right. I'll let you believe what you want. You don't take that shot, the thing was up the river bank behind trees. I'm going to peruse the missing persons reports in that county.

Evasion.

I give you any possible explanation for that encounter. Again. Any whosoever. Go ahead and tell me what happened.

ON MARCH 19TH you said 'We are either lying or wood apes are real. Period. There is no in between.'

Today you ask me 'is he lying? or did he encounter what you say isn't real, or something else?'

Based on your parameters, he is lying unless you have some evidence of the creature's existence.

I said perhaps he is storytelling or performing folk art.

Evasion.

He wanted to be one of the ones who saw something, he had invested a bunch of time in the endeavor, saw the attention the others were getting who shot at one of the beasts, so he decided to make up a story so he could be one of the gang.

Simple Bigfoot storytelling.

^^^No, actually, if they're real, they're real since long before anybody thought of the BFF. Or democracy, for that matter.

^^ There are Bigfoot sightings from North America that predate circa 500 BC?

Though, if it is real, then yeah it would almost have to predate democracy. I can't imagine it somehow came over here after 500 BC, unless it hitched a ride with the Vikings or something. Oh, maybe Grendel was BF in disguise :)

Actually, if I really checked the numbers, which most folks would know there is no reason to do, i'd find out that Africans spend *more* time per month than 50 years of sasquatch field work.

So...you decided to make it up because you think most other people would do the same...but you did so safe in the knowledge that if you could be bothered to look, then the answer would probably be even more right than the one that you made up. Yes, why bother with facts, I know you are a fan of critical thinking!

Must be the case. Because bigfoot aren't real, are they?

Not until someone finds one.

Because that makes sense. They're not real until someone find one.

I found one. Does that count?

Not real until proven to be real by scientific evidence. So no offense and all but your personal claim does notmeet that bar. But you know that already.
