Guest Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 ^^^Oh, if you mean the thread about the weirdos and creepy stuff that people have experienced in the woods (non-BF related), that was a good one!
Guest Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 http://bigfootforums.com/index.php?/topic/30142-strangest-thing-youve-ever-seen-or-found-in-the-woods/ This, though on BFF 1.0 it was far longer. notgiganto knows what I'm talking about.
Guest Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 I think I found it, but not sure if I can link to it here, as it is in the PMP. It is called "The creepiest thing you found or saw when hunting for-bf that wasnt" It is a 25 page thread. Is that the one? (it was from, like '07)
Guest Twilight Fan Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Habituating Bigfoot is loaded with some good reading, just my two cents.. http://bigfootforums...uating-bigfoot/ I second this. It is one of my favorite self-made threads. MANY interesting & personal stories came from that thread. I love looking back on them and reading people's amazing encounters.
Guest Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 The "Is bf moving north due to global warming" on BF1. That was a doozy. What ever happen to Rod. Wish we had the Hunster back. [And COGrizzly's mention of Rod.] I've been away for a while -- just reading this thread for the first time. Can't resist responding, re friend Rod -- who I happened to be thinking about the other day. While wishing no ill to Rod: frankly he annoyed me, and I don't miss him in the least. The most charitable "take" on him that I can muster, is: as he freely admitted, he was very fond of alcohol and other mind-altering substances. Could be that he was drunk and / or stoned for most of his waking hours...
Guest Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 (edited) I know this is a reach, but how about the thread from BFF 1.0 in which a woman reported to have a picture of a BF in a rice field in Texas. She eventually put it up and a firestorm erupted. It was kind of a Bigfoot 101 in how not to over promise and under deliver in this field. (Like we don't have enough of that.) The last 3 letters of her handle were "tex". Just can't remember the name, and yes, I searched the old forum. This report- http://208.109.31.181/GDB/show_report.asp?id=8832 Edited October 13, 2012 by Squatchaholic
Guest COGrizzly Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Rod also claimed to have seen a picture of a yowie or whatever. Said it was clear as day. The owner of the photo didn't want to share.
Guest Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 notgiganto, that is exactly what I'm talking about.
Guest Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Not a premium member so I'm not sure where you could find it. But, the Creekfreak thread was one for the ages. That guy was so full of "it" his eyes were brown...what an entertaining read though.
Guest Kerchak Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 What threads did you find to be the most interesting, funny, captivating, etc.on BFF1 and BFF2? Please post your favorites here, with links if possible. If you can't find the links maybe we can. Thanks! My own threads about the mass blunders and huge amount of self contradictions of Mr Bob Heironimus. http://bigfootforums.com/index.php?/topic/8474-the-self-contradictions-of-bob-heironimus/ http://bigfootforums.com/index.php?/topic/8849-bob-heironimus-strange-comments-about-bluff-creek/ Nah seriously, I always enjoyed the Albert Ostman threads, particularly the discussions about the distances and directions he may (or may not have) travelled, if it was really possible for him to have seen such and such a mountain from the location he claimed he was at, and trying to pinpoint where his valley may have been (or not been). Fascinating stuff. Here is one of them. http://bigfootforums.com/index.php?/topic/30403-albert-ostman/page__hl__%2Balbert+%2Bostman
Guest JenJen of Oldstones Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I really enjoyed kbhunter's thread: Journal of My Encounters in Georgia http://bigfootforums.com/index.php?/topic/307-my-journal-of-encounters-in-ga/ Basically, he's had this same hunting lease for 33 years, and it slowly dawned on him that there was a lot of evidence that Bigfoots lived there. So the journal chronicles his observations, and you can really feel his excitement and sense of wonder--especially at the beginning of the journal--as he documents things that he'd always noticed before but never thought much of until he realized they were likely related to Bigfoot activities. So he's looking at everything with new eyes, but at the same time doing a really remarkable job of observing new things and describing them in detail for us. He lost the lease a couple of years ago, and the journal ended, BUT he's just posted that he got the lease back, so we have a lot of fun new reading to look forward to!
Guest Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Creepiest things found in the woods (not BF related) Great thread! Got my vote
