chelefoot
If no one can show conclusively what happened here; if this guy isn't demonstrably (as: you can prove it) deluded or putting us on or getting hoaxed, it might be the best thing to do to pull out a chair and hear more about what continues to happen. Alternatively, there's a "Bigfoot Junkie" thread where one might explore more thoroughly one's own purpose. Right. I tried to make it open ended enough so that we could continue the discussion there if you all want to (cause I was a guilty party in the off topic discussion as well). Guest
Also, Lake County Bigfoot, have you monitored prowler calls to police dispatch in this general area? Are there a lot of them (more than normal)? What kind of call prompted the police drive by in your neighborhood? I would map the calls and see if there is a pattern with entrance/escape routes to the marsh area. Also notate time of year. I don't know, maybe you have done this already. Sunflower
No, DWA. I am suggesting one try to get better evidence to potentially raise the discussion above the level of anecdotal tale. How is that not science? Do you think science pushes back on the notion of collecting hard evidence to support a claim? What Nod said above ^^^ Things like that are what is required here, not more ambiguous evidence. I know if I thought I had an apple loving Bigfoot that kept coming to my backyard then I would be sitting in a tub of apple sauce with a camera each and every night Or you could just hike or bike to a spot with activity history, stay the nite, bring apples, whistle a few tunes and wait up til dawn. Good luck.
dmaker
^^ Are you implying Bigfoots would not come? Why not?
Sunflower
No, I am not implying anything, I'm trying to give you ideas so you can have your own experience with them.
Guest
^^ Yes, I forgot how dumb Pandas are when seeking food vs a giant ape-man that wanders into our backyards to steal our apples. Where he's totally outcompeted by the lesser spotted apple stealer? As long as it's easy they'll do it. When one is stealing your apples, let's see how much effort you want to put into stopping them. It's like raccoons in your garbage, obviously if you can't be bothered getting a 6" armor plated garbage can with 7 deadbolts, you're okay with waking up to your garbage all over the yard, and the raccoon is okay with doing it, see, symbiosis, everyone is "happy". (BTW southpark reckons it's gonna be the sea otters, but I think it will be the raccoons, or possibly the squirrels, they're **** "tricksy" too.) dmaker
I asked one of the unicorns in my petting zoo and he was fine with the criticism. He was, however, annoyed that I interrupted him while watching the series finale of Breaking Bad.
Squatchy McSquatch
I recorded the Breaking Bad finale, but the dragon in my garage told me the ending before I had a chance to watch it
dmaker
Dragons are known to do that.
Sunflower
The three bigfoot that I have seen clearly were, on average, 25 miles west of Little Rock. (There have been about 20 sighting reports from that area as well, most of which are posted on BF web sites. (Mountains.) There are others about 20 southwest of Little Rock. (River bottoms.) All four forks of the river head in the mountains mentioned above. If there is a river passing nearby, there are now, or have been in the past, BF passing alongside it. We notice that 20 miles is how far we go to Nowhere, __ but there is also evidence that they have visited here as well. We have two rivers in the vicinity and lots of creeks and streams. Other rivers a bit north of us. Perfect habitat for them, imo.

Lake County Bigfooot
Sorry for being gone for so long, was on the road all weekend starting Friday, took my wife out to the Sand Hills of Nebraska looking for some better dark sky for star gazing, we got there and it looked really bad, 90% cloud cover and a poor gazing forecast. Woke up at 3am and saw a few stars, so I knew we had a chance, traveled 100 miles or so to get into the darkest sky, between North Platte and Valentine Ne. Saw the Milky Way from horizon to horizon, a hint of northern lights, and the zodiacal light, not to mention quite a few shooting stars. Obviously I was interested in the possible Squatching areas along the way. It makes sense why Iowa gets it's share of sightings with it's abundance of streams and woodlands, while the areas seem somewhat limited in Nebraska, given the vast expanses of grass lands. Though in the sand hills we heard coyotes at almost every location we stopped, so I could not help but making a whoop call, scared the crap out my wife because I forgot to warn her, and I got a wood knock response, which was like, how the hell are you up here?, and where is the wood? Very strange. Listened to coast to coast on the way home and got weirded out thinking about bigfoot and the paranormal. Orbs and crop circles and mutilations, and how that has been associated by some with bigfoot, don't want them to be of that nature as that eliminates them from being purely biological creatures. Hope we can prove that that is the case, that these are just creatures like all others, not a super race of alien drones. If I start seeing orbs in my backyard I will be out of there. Oddly the day after I heard the whoops in my yard, I saw this freaking floating object at my work, I was working on a large hill that has a golf course, and it was just floating out there at about a mile away, nearly at the same height, about 100 feet or so off the ground, about the size of a car, and I hoped it was a balloon, another oddity.
