BC witness Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 (edited) I think you've got it, norseman. The occasional blinks look very owlish, and that would also cover the lack of thermal image, as the body mass is relatively small, and well insulated with feathers. BTW, do therms work well through the windshield of a vehicle? I would think that the layered glass would affect the reading, but have no personal experience with that equipment. Guest Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 (edited) But back to MM, or better MMm, he's really starting to make the rest of us look more kooky than we need to, constantly dropping logic bombs and accepting even a lack of evidence as evidence. Sounds more like a conspiracy nut than professional researcher. Basically this. For your average American 2.2 kids-having, Animal Planet-watching person, Moneymaker is the face of the Bigfoot community, and that is not a good look for us. Edited February 4, 2014 by ForestTone
Skookum Chuck Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 True Forestone. That he portrays himself as "The Most Knowledgeable" of all things Sasquatch is also a farce.....as evidenced by his all-encompassing proclamations that are mostly Hooey.

I was thinking the same things. I have seen that eye shine before and it was owls. I cannot see a real live 8' ape-man conveniently located off of a road standing there in headlights. I just don't think it would be this easy or would behave this way. I guess I look at all circumstantial evidence as well as probabilities. I also wonder about whether a piece of glass could distort infrared?
Guest thermalman Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Infrared cameras cannot "see" through glass. All they register is a reflection off the camera side of the glass.
Guest Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 (edited) Owls dont have bioluminescent eyes, either. That means there was a light source there, even if it was too faint to see other than reflections in the Owl eyes. (I know you guys know that, but it is a pertinent fact) Likely the same with Bigfoot... Edited February 5, 2014 by ForestTone
Guest Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 This whole bioluminous eye topic is so ignorant to use that term to describe tapetum lucidum reflection..... its maddening
MIB Posted February 5, 2014 Moderator Posted February 5, 2014 This whole bioluminous eye topic is so ignorant to use that term to describe tapetum lucidum reflection..... its maddening I'd agree with that, BUT some of "my" witnesses are not talking about reflection, they are talking about the eyes being a light SOURCE. Projected beams. Big "hmm." I dunno. I hope to make it to the site where this is supposedly happening this year. I know just scoffing would save me time and gas but there's way too much of that already. MIB
Guest DWA Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 ^^^Bing. MM is tossing chaff into the air with every wave of the hand nowadays. But that says nothing about a number of reports I have read where the witness reports no evident source of external light. Either they're (understandably, all things considered) wrong about that or...ya got me.
Guest Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 No evident source of external light maybe, but just a clear night with starlight and or moon light and very large set of fully dilated nocturnal eyes could still reflect IMO and if others are reporting beams of light emitted from bipeds they must also be big fans of X Men movies
Guest DWA Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I dismiss nothing. I just ask for the evidence. Reports are evidence, on which I can say nothing except: there's the report.
