Bigfoot's Hiding Ability Vs Military Special Forces?

Intelligence is more than doing math or chemistry problems, or reading a novel and passing a test. Intelligence is dependent on what the goal is and how well the goal is achieved. In this case, bigfoot's goal is to evade or hide from humans. So can bigfoot do this better than an average Navy Seal, Army Ranger, Marine or Air Force Special Forces?

Dictionary definition: Human intelligence is the intellectual capacity of humans, which is characterized by perception, consciousness, self-awareness, and volition. Through their intelligence, humans possess the cognitive abilities to learn, form concepts, understand, apply logic, and reason, including the capacities to recognize patterns, comprehend ideas, plan, problem solve, make decisions, retaining, and use language to communicate. Intelligence enables humans to experience and think.

Below is the latest IQ chart according to Wikipedia...........

Current Wechsler (WAIS–IV, WISC–IV, WPPSI–IV) IQ classification IQ Range ("deviation IQ") IQ Classification[32][33] 130 and above Very Superior 120–129 Superior 110–119 High Average 90–109 Average 80–89 Low Average 70–79 Borderline 69 and below Extremely Low

So why do we have so much trouble finding and filming bigfoot? Could we hypothesize that bigfoot has hiding or evasion intelligence and skills that rival or are above the level of military special forces? Some of these service members probably have 'evasion IQs' above 130 and may approach evasion genius levels. Seems like bigfoot evades humans on a constant basis and remains nearly impossible to film. Why and how? Hack away..................find some truths............most of all, have some fun.

Hello georgerm,

My apologies. I'm not following you around the Forum but I can't resist this one. Maybe it will drive home some issues. Here are some reasons they are so successful at evading Humans:

1)   Because they are so big.
2)   Because they cross roads.
3)   Because they howl, clack rocks, tree knock, slap houses, and dumpster dive.
4)   Because they smell.
5)   Because they have eye shine.
6)   Because there's hundreds of them.
7)   Because they leave footprints.
8) Because they come charging out of forest fires.
9)   Because they are seen day or night.
10) Because their rear ends stick out when they tree peep.
11) Because they make stick structures and shake trees.
12) Because they escort Humans out of the woods.

This is fun sure, and the above list seems to be compiled by amateurs. But at the same time one does have to wonder that since the consensus is that only amateurs are after them then they SHOULD be easy pickins for professionals with all the absolute BEST equipment available. This is the sticking point that always is in the back of my mind during my research. It's simply something I struggle with. No biggie.

P.S. Number eight wouldn't let me just pop in an eight- probably just as well, eh? ;)

My field partner is a career Army SF(25+ yrs. in SF) sniper who fought in Vietnam and all over the globe. He expressed to me in no uncertain terms "That BF makes us(SF) look like a bunch of Girl Scouts"

Have fun but don't get too rough..........good points............ but the question still remains after all the points that you made ring with truth but...................explain why we can't capture one, bring in a dead one, or get really good films? Why can't we get proof?

Read the question: "Seems like bigfoot evades humans on a constant basis and remain nearly impossible to film. Why and how? Hack away..................find some truths............most of all, have some fun."

I guess you have not heard the Report that the Govt sends the Special Forces in to kill the BF's when they get to aggressive or if there are a lot of missing persons in a specific area...

I would like to hear more from this fellow............thanks.

Oh, we on the forum hear all kinds of stuff. What did they find out or just another cover up?  Do we have reports from these soldiers or more myths?

Hello gorgerm,

Yeah, it all was pretty tongue-in-cheek but the irony within the list isn't lost on many here. This is a good topic actually so thanks for bringing it up. There was a thread a while back titled "Is Sasquatch A Secret?" that explored some ideas about upper level echelons perhaps hiding things but that isn't for here.

Back on topic I think Bigfoot, should it be real, gets caught out sometimes just like any other animal or Human. I can't really comment on the hiding-from-a camera-aspect as it's something I don't believe is intentional. There are photos, there are videos, blurry as they may be that say BF gets caught out at times.

BFF Patron

Involvement of the military would involve classified operations. You are not going to get anyone active to talk about Special Ops. Military jails are not a lot of fun. Since normal declassification runs about 30 years that puts us way back, probably before there was any military interest in BF. So I would not hold my breath and wait for some military guy to spill what he knows.

More fodder for the bigfoot mythos. Not a whit of real evidence the government sends in Special Forces to battle recalcitrant bigfoot, but it sure sounds good. Oh, and none of them will speak out because, well, because. Piled higher and deeper.

Hello Incorrigible1,

That's recalcitrant SIR! to you ;) In retrospect though I think recalcitrant reprobate BF is more like it? IF the non-sorry repeat offender shoe fits that is.

That'd be quite the tale. Where could an interested individual read such a report? Edited by Bonehead74

Hello Sasfooty,

There's no question their talents are amazing but I don't think mysterious as much as well honed. My guess is that Humans in the same situation even though smaller would be very attuned to their "home". They would know when something changed in the forest on very subtle levels. Eight feet away in the underbrush Moose are invisible. Go take a walk in Moose country and tell me how many you run across as an exercise, how many bear, or other animals. Some folks get lucky; most don't.

I'm thinking if that kind of talent for making one scarce is coupled with high intelligence, experience, and training since birth then efficiency goes way up. At least I should think it to be so. In all my research I've not seen anything that tells me that our Hairy Friend possesses anything extraordinary that it's upbringing wouldn't explain. They make mistakes as much as the other Creatures on this Planet too.
