norseman Posted May 9, 2011 Admin Share Posted May 9, 2011 I don't live in Seattle so I have no clue as to how many security camera's there are, you don't either so that point was a "wash". Not exactly, because I don't think it's a stretch that the number is in the thousands. Not counting personal cameras in the millions owned by private citizens. AS far as Bears? Since they aren't sedient OR deliberatly trying to avoid all detection I would agree they get rounded up fairly quickly. So you think a Squatch is sentient? Are they also ninjas? Because many human criminals who are attempting to avoid detection get caught on camera anyhow.... BTW...a dumpster as an "Objective"? Seriously?? Even my drill sargent couldn't pull that term off with a straight face!! (he tried while assigning guard duty) Sorry it's no laughing matter......... norseman Posted May 9, 2011 Admin Share Posted May 9, 2011 Folks at the Lucky Star Casino in Concho, OK claimed they had security camera footage of a bigfoot raiding a grease trap behind their restaurant. Maybe I should claim a Bigfoot is raiding my business? Maybe people will buy something while snooping around.....

Guest Silver Fox
Supposedly BF's have been twice on Google Earth cameras as the cars drove by. I saw one photo taken from Ohio and I liked it. It seems the BF was curious about the car with the camera and came out to look at it. I would like to hand it to the skeptics here though. While I am a believer, this is a very disturbing problem. Indeed, with all the game and trail cams out there, how come we can't get a shot of a BF? It's very unsettling from to the Believer Camp. One argument is that the BF's figure out these cameras and avoid the flashes. They are said to emit some kind of low frequency sounds that the BF's can hear and the BF's then just steer clear of. Makes about as much sense as any other theory. One thing I have learned about Bigfootery is that so much just does not make sense. BF itself makes no sense. Believers' arguments don't make sense. Skeptics arguments don't make sense. Nothing seems to make much sense. But increasingly, my view is something like, "The impossible is true." I'll agree the number of camera's in the city of Seattle number in the thousands. That has little bearing on how many are aimed at dumpsters in BF accessable dumpsters. The number of which neither of us can say for sure. The point you're trying to make still is a "wash". Yes I do think they are sentient. They have demonstrated this in interactions with people many times over. Ninja's? That was a bit out in left field! LOL!! Woodswise yes...big hairy Ninja's? Uh....no. Many criminals who get caught on camera's are also, well criminals...Most of which will never be accused of being genuis's. Altho I find you comparing BF to our societies criminal element interesting.
kitakaze
Where are the wolves? Here from a 2008 monitoring station image are members of Lookout Pack taken from the GP Task Force website... http://bigfootforums.com/ The animals are descended from wild wolves in BC and Alberta. Members of Lookout Pack have been killed by poachers and their remains recovered by officials. Still no Bigfoots. Not that anyone asked, but in case anyone is wondering where game cam photos of WA grizzlies are, there are only a few and they live in the Northern Cascades and the Selkirks. And it only took ten years to find 'em! http://www.conservationnw.org/wildlife-habitat/wolf-pack-confirmed-in-north-central-washington Good thing too. Wolves were extinct in the Cascades when I lived there despite a friend seeing them from time to time when he was working in the woods. Wolverines were extinct too until someone found a roadkill. If you'd put cameras on my trees you'd have gotten great shots of more trees.
kitakaze
And it only took ten years to find 'em! http://www.conservationnw.org/wildlife-habitat/wolf-pack-confirmed-in-north-central-washington You know that is not the case. Why do you do things like that? This is one of the first images of Lookout Pack when they came into and were detected in the area by Conservation Northwest remote cameras... http://www.conservationnw.org/wildlife-habitat/wolf-pack-confirmed-in-north-central-washington/image/image_view_fullscreen What is that that you see around that animal's neck and on both of its ears? LAL, you know what your own link states... Ten years after launching their first wilderness survey with a remote camera, Conservation Northwest captured images of six wolf pups and a collared adult on Monday. Two collared adults from the central Washington wolf pack–the "Lookout Pack"–were confirmed as 100% wolf by DNA testing by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The Lookout Pack of the Methow Valley is the first wolf pack in Washington since the 1930s. Genetically they are related to wolves from BC or Alberta, and made their way to Washington from there. http://www.conservationnw.org/wildlife-habitat/wolf-pack-confirmed-in-north-central-washington 1) You know these were captured, tagged, studied animals. 2) You know they were from Canada, not slinking around getting through dozens of monitoring stations for ten years. 3) You know the animals have been poached in Washington as small as the pack is. 2008 was the year that the GFNP and much of the Cascade started being monitored by extensive arrays of monitoring stations that were reliable and produced quality images of mammals in the area. They have recorded every large mammal in the area from grizzlies, to wolves, to one single wolverine. Yet never once are there any images of huge heretofore mythical apes coming out. Please do not again so blatantly misrepresent the efforts of wildlife bilogists and others working so hard at conserving actual living wildlife in the PNW. kitakaze
Sweet mother. Why is it on a Bigfoot forum so many people treat wildlife biology like voodoo? Gigantor, because an animal has bee tagged and collared does not mean it is unafraid of humans. Indeed, it can well be the opposite. Let me put it another way. Aliens swoop down out of nowhere wielding an object that looks like this... Next thing you know, hey, what's that sticking out of my ass? Lights out and next thing you know, you've got more fluorescent gear on then Prescilla Queen of the Desert. So are you looking forward to meeting those aliens again? Now, on the other hand, the Bigfoot that was reported at this dumpster demonstrates a decidely pronounced lack of fear of humans... http://www.bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp?id=28743

Guest BFSleuth
Now, on the other hand, the Bigfoot that was reported at this dumpster demonstrates a decidely pronounced lack of fear of humans... http://www.bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp?id=28743 I know the location of this sighting report very well. At the time of the sighting it is a residential neighborhood that would have been asleep with very little traffic. Once the BF knew that it was seen it departed the area to a nearby ravine with access to Puget Sound less than 1/2 mile away. There are a series of ravines that cut down to Puget Sound in the greater Seattle area that provide habitat for urban populations of deer, coyote, fox, and the occasional cougar or bear. Interesting tidbit about this report is that it is less than 3 miles from SeaTac airport.
Drew
That means they are unafraid of humans and their tools. Not exactly pics of wild animals. Wow, this statement has no bearing on fact. Have you ever seen a tranquilization effort? Typically they try to hide the gun from the target, they try to make the gun as quiet as possible so the animals don't associate the loud noise, and the shape of the gun, with being attacked. It is a science in itself to make the tranquilization as untraumatic as possible. Ever try to tranquilize a chimpanzee who knows what a tranquilizer gun looks like?
