Guest Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Crowlogic, the unicorn, dragon, fairy thing is very old Show me a report of a Law enforcement officer that has publicly reported a dragon, a unicorn, and or a fairy. A serious report not some lame joke report. I can show links to several Sasquatch reports from Law enforcement individuals only. I think that is a bit naive of you to think that a police man wouldn't lie. They are human just like firemen, judges, Congress men and any other occupation you might think only accepts infallible people who never make stuff up.
norseman Posted August 30, 2015 Admin Posted August 30, 2015 Oh how the story has changed..... http://bigfootforums.com/index.php/topic/36282-the-nakani/ Nakani wrote: I wanted to make a thread about the Nakani in northern Canada and my efforts to confirm there existence. From the little information I have they are a hairy relic hominid so I think that classifies them in the Sasquatch category. The last reported sighting was in 1964, a hairy man wearing a loin cloth and carrying a stone club was seen. Local hunters gave chase but they couldnt catch him. They are said to be cannibals who steal women or girls. They are not friendly, and are feared to this day, this is not some old legend. When we go into the bush we never leave our guns or knives outside overnight. We lock our cabin door and pull the curtains at night even though our cabin is 135 km up river from the Hamlet I live in. I don't lock my door in town but I do in the bush (kinda backwards).
Guest Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) Hey where did you find that? That was a different Nakani...someone hacked my account. .um...er.. Oh you got me, at one time... I... thought Bigfoot was real. I have been meaning to wrap up my Nakani thread, I have concluded that there *could* have been a "lost tribe" living in the Northern mountains at one time, the recent (80's- present) are the result of white trappers snooping around. You joined the JREF and your brain slammed shut. I'll tell you this much, if a local hunter such as yourself is telling me something might be around, I'm listening. Hunters evidently unlike the rest of humanity (according to some) are superb observers. By law we are expected to make split second decisions concerning species, gender, age, and rack width or points allowed. We also know which track leds us to what animal. Or what a scrap, rub or grenading stump means. I've observed two Griz in the Selkirks, and I could tell you size, activity, direction of travel, etc in each of those encounters. When I encounter something unknown in the forest? I've already went over all possibilities, thats how my brain works. People can lie, absolutely......but what if they are not?
David NC Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) It is not naive, it is the way most people think. They will take the word of someone they see in a "higher" position in society. They are in a position where what they say, do and how they act are under more of a microscope than your average laymen blue collar worker. This is the mentality that people have reached now. I personally put as much stock into what people, that are out there in the wilder places for a living, say about their experiences. The people in what we deem "higher" status of our society it would argue would have far more to lose in their status, career, the believability in their mental stability etc. . For example a Law enforcement officer has to worry about his credibility as a witness in court if it were proven that he falsifies any kind of report Sasquatch or otherwise, does that not lend a little more credence to him/her coming forward about an experience. http://www.bfro.net/gdb/show_report.asp?id=13653 http://www.bfro.net/gdb/show_report.asp?id=25260 http://www.bfro.net/gdb/show_report.asp?id=9555 http://www.bfro.net/gdb/show_report.asp?id=24967 http://www.bfro.net/gdb/show_report.asp?id=25364 http://www.bfro.net/gdb/show_report.asp?id=38309 http://www.bfro.net/gdb/show_report.asp?id=42999 I will put up my end of the discussion to support what I have suggested. The last one happened here in NC. Norseman I think you might find it interesting, The officer (not on duty) Was hunting and had a 30-06 rifle in his hands at the time of the sighting. Guest Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Norseman, I came to my conclusions regarding the existence of Bigfoot prier to my joining the Jref. It was the skeptics over here that helped me see the other side.
norseman Posted August 30, 2015 Admin Posted August 30, 2015 Many of the ones over here are over there......and now your over there. Look, people change their minds, all I ask is that you don't let closed minded people do your thinking for you. If you have experienced something in the bush at the top of the gol darn world? Maybe stuffy British professor dude doesnt know as much as he thinks he does.......
Guest OntarioSquatch Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) Those who say that Bigfoot can't exist aren't actually skeptics; they're usually ex-proponents who choose a path of denial mainly because they lack the skepticism required to properly approach the subject. The ISF is like a church for these people. Edited August 30, 2015 by OntarioSquatch
norseman Posted August 30, 2015 Admin Posted August 30, 2015 OS, Ill help you out even....... Thanks bud! 2
David NC Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) Norseman Look, people change their minds, all I ask is that you don't let closed minded people do your thinking for you. I might add that you should not let anyone open or closed minded to do your thinking for you. Hiflier and some others class proponents in such a way that it seems they cannot be skeptics. I may be wrong in how I read this. A proponent can still be a skeptic and you see it a lot on this forum. They are no longer skeptical of the existence but are still skeptics when it comes to each experience and piece of evidence that is presented. some experiences and evidence presented passes their plausible/i don't believe it, sifting screen and some does'nt. norseman Posted August 30, 2015 Admin Posted August 30, 2015 Here is where it all ties in, for most denialists the beast cannot exist because its 2015 and it just cant. This observation is not based on real observations usually.

It was the skeptics over here that helped me see the other side. What about the skeptics there helped you as opposed to the skeptics here? A lot of those jref'ers are members here as well. That's an honest question. I mean, most of this stuff get's shot down here, it isn't just jref.
