Was out twice today - lots of sign, just not around when I was. Good luck on the mule deer! Here is a hunting clip I made that includes my set with the decoy. 1
NorCalWitness Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 The worst sound you can hear in the deep woods is the sound of a 4WD vehicle.
norseman Posted November 22, 2022 Admin Posted November 22, 2022 Another north Idaho wolf hunt. I cant get anything to talk. Found a cabin perched on top of a canyon while glassing. 1
cmknight Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 At least you don't have too much of the white stuff ... yet.
norseman Posted November 23, 2022 Admin Posted November 23, 2022 I made some new videos. I dropped a bad word in the TRED video. Sorry!

cmknight Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 We only have rain, but our long-range is calling for 30 cm (12") from next Tues-Fri. Thankfully, I just bought a set of Toyo Open Country A/T III's. Around here, if we get 1" of snow, people start smashing into each other like those kinetic energy balls.

They do that in Seattle and Portland too!
PNWexplorer Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Got our first snow of the year the other night. Drove home from work at 11 pm on an inch or so of snow on top of black ice in a heavy fog. 15k miles on my Goodyear Wrangler Ultra Terrains tires and they still grip like new. Amazing tires that have exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Doing my annual trek to Yuma in a couple of months and will have full confidence in them. They started at 18/32" of tread when new, and after 15k miles of hard miles on rocks, gravel, desert, and snow, they are at 14/32" and still perform great. Anyone looking for a capable AT tire that is awesome in the snow(3 peak rated) and are amazing at daily driving and wet weather driving needs to go to Discount Tire online and get these tires. The performance and wear is just amazing! Now, if I was running an extreme off-road rig like Norseman and needed a large tire with excellent snow, mud, and rock traction, then I would go with the Patagonia MT.
norseman Posted November 25, 2022 Admin Posted November 25, 2022 This is what’s on the Dodge. https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/pro-comp-xtreme-m-t-2-radial-tires/9518?Style_PQMS=Xtreme+M%2FT+2 1
PNWexplorer Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 I had a buddy run those on a lifted Cherokee XJ and they are good looking tires. He was very happy with them in the mud and wet weather (he was stationed at JBLM near Seattle).
