Long time lurker who finally signed up. Background of law enforcement, mountain rescue and equine. Seen and heard things in the woods that were not "normal" and peaked my interest in the subject. Just keeping my knowledge base going.

Hello from western Massachusetts. I have been interested in the bigfoot topic for a long time. A friend and I may of had an encounter about 40 years ago. This is what has fueled my interest. I have heard of quite a bit of activity in my area.

Hi all, new member from MN.  Lifelong camper, hiker, adventurer, hunter, fisherman.

 

Have always had a passing (passive) interest/curiosity... until I started having my own personal experiences, which as I imagine for everyone, are very very unsettling - to say the least.

 

I would appreciate any tips on overcoming fear to enjoy backcountry solo trips again.

 

I am also interested in learning more about other local sightings after doing independent research and realizing the ever present behavioral parallels that often occur within encounter stories.
