Hello fellow Bigfoot enthusiasts! My name is Erika and I am from south Texas. I have been on a huge bigfoot kick as is Kate and trying to find out everything I can about it. I listen to bigfoot related podcasts every morning and have been looking throughout the net to see what I can find out about the subject. I joined the forum because this has to be one of the best places to see photos and hear encounters, I assume.

  Honestly, DrPSH, I have always been interested in the world’s mysteries, cryptids, etc. and as for Bigfoot, to me it’s one of those cryptids that, although I have never seen one, is actually real. All the sightings, tracks, etc, there has to be something to it (in my belief). So many people ask, why haven’t we ever found one? Well, I think it’s simple, you have a very intelligent animal that is actively trying to avoid humans and takes certain precautions to do so, I think it’s nearly impossible to see one. As for never having found a body, I think that is because they don’t just leave their dead. I have heard some accounts where one was shot and another carried the body off. I could be completely wrong, but this is what I have concluded from listening to eyewitness accounts.
  I just find it fascinating, and recently was listening to a paranormal podcast, which I do regularly, and they told the account of what I believe was a miner that was taken in his sleeping bag by a sasquatch and held for a few days until he escaped. Whether that account is true or not is another thing, but that is what got me curious and started my bigfoot journey. I started looking for any information I could find, and that eventually led me here.
