Hello from northern California. I have not had any interactions or events related to a Sasquatch directly myself but I have a friend who I've known for twenty years and would trust with my life who has. Over the years I have spent a fair amount of time outdoors camping and the topic often comes up. I have met several people that would be considered locals to these areas I visit and have heard them tell stories that are very personal and with so much detail that it's hard for me to just discredit them. They have nothing to gain and generally don't care if they are believed or not. I understand how they feel because I have had an experience with seeing something that was beyond my understanding while camping with two others in the High Sierra. Most commonly known  as an unidentified flying object. Whether someone believes me or not really doesn't matter. We saw what we saw.

I personally believe far too many people being from so many different backgrounds could all be making up stories just because. Even if 95% of these people were proven wrong or to be hoaxes. To me the 5% makes this something worth investigating more.

Hello BFF, my name is Mel (Female) and I have recently moved to a remote area of the PNW.  I started seeing beautiful rocks, oddly shaped wood, and a KFC ketchup packet in the same area most days, I thought maybe I had a racoon or other interested animal.  Later I think I saw what may have been a BF and have other odd events.  Now my interest is perked and would like to read more about this subject and other people's experiences.

Hello, My name is Adam I'm from southern Ohio. I've been interested in this topic most of my life and I've had a share of strange things happen from 3years old in the woods with my grandma until recently.I have always been quite about the subject or felt I couldn't talk to anyone and I'm here to see what the site is like, maybe chat and share or review what others have to say,

It's always on my mind and I don't really know anyone that I can do that with and that why I'm here. Thank you

Hey all my name is Eric. I'm an avid outdoorsman. Recently fell in love with thru hiking and have spent lots of time in Colorado bagging peaks. I lived in Vail and explored much of Holy Cross Wilderness. My curiosity of this subjrct dates back over ten years ago, I am 24. Excited to have found a community like this to check out and talk with others.

Hi everyone. I just joined. I chose this site figuring there are serious credible people (and no kooks lol) who i can talk with who are in the same circumstances as me. Im up in eastern Ontario Canada. I (and a few other friends) have seen or encountered a sasquatch a number of times now and i (& we) are well past that first questioning stage and we know for an absolute fact these sasquatches are living real beings and are perplexed, like many, why they arent in mainstream knowledge. But we do know that the MNR are aware of them and the OPP (provincial police here--equivalent to state troopers/police in the US). Theres a group of 4 of us and although we are reluctant to go public with our accounts it was decided i would step out and join a forum. I can & will tell about my/our incidents or encounters as its referred to. I myself had 5 encounters as they call it, starting from when i was younger until a couple of years ago. Plus my friends' stories. These sasquatches are clearly living in 3 counties that we traversed through & are familiar with & we know this for a fact! As for me: Im a normal intelligent educated guy in my early 50's, no drugs or hangups lol. Have done a good number of camping trips/expeditions on my/our own. Very serious about this. Fully equipped with gear, including a FLIR scope & night vision. I hope to talk with people here no matter where you live, but wonder & hope if anyone here is in ontario also? And yes, for people wondering if there are credible reports & sightings of sasquatches in Ontario, yes, alot more than whats been reported that we found out about as me & 2 other buddies began checking all this out a few years ago, especially in two of the counties here not far from us. And just so you know, we learned that many people report sightings to police and MNR here but dont report online for people to see! This was an answer given to me from a cop and an MNR guy when we asked about other sources for reports for our area and Ontario etc in general. Sorry for the long intro. Just trying to fit in what i felt necessary for people here to get a good sense of me. Want to hear people's experience & tell of mine & ours because they involve typical & not exactly typical lol. But very serious and not into ********. There are enough idiots & wackos out there who really discredited & damaged a subject enough so that innocent sincere people feel isolated & reluctant to telling about experiences. Thank you.

Hi,

Australian here. I've been into sasquatch stuff for ~15 years, was on the BFRO forums a long time ago.

I am an environmental scientist and specialise in Geographic Information Systems, Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis. I see you have made some layers in google earth and I am interested in taking this to a much higher level. For example I could take things like sighting location, time of day and season and look at relations between them and data such as game density and location, elevation, vegetation health and type, distance to streams, roads, towns etc and generate high quality maps and similarly output numeric data of such factors for statistical analyses.

Thanks.

Welcome to the BFF zwickks. We can use your help with the SSR database. I'll send you a message later this week about it.

Thanks

Long interested in BF the nature of the possibility of the existence but question. The search for evidence and possible explanations is interesting.
