Hello Bigfoot Forums,

Have followed the  Bigfoot phenomena since I first saw The Legend of Boggie Creek in '72.  I have yet to actually participate in any expeditions.  I am now at a point in my life where I plan to go back and start this new journey. I am looking forward to relearning, reading and talking with all about their discussions.

What's up? Stumbled upon this forum as I've been getting back into the Sasquatch phenomenon again. Always was on my mind but lately I've found Dr. Meldrum, his book and what not and I'm fired up about this again. Meldrum is a hero.

Welcome to the Bigfoot Forums. Please use this area to tell us about yourself and briefly how you became interested in Bigfoot!

If you wish to post your BF encounters, experiences and stories, please do so in the appropriate threads- after you introduce yourself here. This is not the area for prolonged or continuous encounter reports because they will simply be deleted. If you need assistance, contact a moderator or administrator.

Thanks and enjoy the forums.

Hi.  I've become interested in the subject of Bigfoot over many years. Our recent attendance at the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Camping Adventure has encouraged us to do some of our own investigations.  I am hoping to gain some knowledge and advice from the website and hopefully make some contacts in the Western Pennsylvania area.  Thanks!  Bocceguy

Eh Up, all of you, I am Vanessa from Yorkshire, UK. Came across a creepy stories from the outdoors forum and joined it because it is fascinating, and it has led me to join here. I am genuinely amazed at what people have experienced and, due to the vastness of the US, it’s absolutely believable that this is happening and I want to hear all I can, first hand on this type of forum.

Not the same as BF, but I was seriously mocked by locals in Deepcar/Stocksbridge after witnessing a very, very large black/dark cat jump from the middle of a country lane I was driving down, up a banking and over a dry stone wall around midnight on my way home from working at a local bar. I know what I saw.

I won’t have a lot to post on here, possibly more big cats?!? Hubby saw a Lynx type creature chasing hares one evening on Whitwell Moor, Stocksbridge,  with a witness but, again, people mock....

But we aren’t on here for big cats. Hope you allow me to stick around and read up on this overwhelming subject. Something has to be out there, because too many people are documenting it.

HI!  I GOT INTO SEARCHING FOR BIGFOOT IN OCT 2007.  SO FAR I HAVE SEEN 9 OF THEM, AND PROBABLY HAVE HAD AT LEAST 50 ANSWERS TO WOOD KNOCKS OR WHOOPS.

I HAVE WORKED SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND SOUTHERN TEXAS.  TO STOP BORDOM WHEN TRYING TO GET THEM TO COME VISIT I AM PLANNING TO START TAKING PEOPLE

ON EXPEDITIONS FOR NO CHARGE.  I NEED PEOPLE TO ATTRACT BIGFOOT AND PEOPLE WANT TO SEE ONE, SO IT IS A WIN WIN FOR EVERYONE.

I've never seen a Bigfoot nor evidence of one during all my years in the outdoors.  However, I fully believe they exist, based on individual testimony I've heard over the years.  Actually its the more recent testimony that has convinced me the most.  No point in mentioning those individuals as I'm not trying to convince anyone other than myself.  For the record in my younger days (1970's-90's) I worked in manufacturing and in my spare time spent a great deal of my time in the great outdoors, but in those days structures were not much heard of (at least in the Midwest) and I may as well past by many.

As Bigfoot became more prevalent on cable/satellite TV so did my interest without much consideration of them being in the Midwest.  Of course in time that changed as well.  In 2009 I was able to take an early retirement and afforded the opportunity to go to college in which I became a website developer.  As YouTube developed into a great platform for Bigfoot I began to collect links to various BF channels and sites as my knowledge for BF became unquenchable.  I'm sure most here know that feeling!  This past year I decided to expand my list and make it into a badly needed service for our Bigfoot Community so I used my list combined with my website development skills and created Show Me Bigfoot.  I've had many contact me since to list their info on my site, one of which is a member of this site and consequently Bigfoot Forums is now listed on Show Me Bigfoot and I'm here wanting to be a part of it (thank you Madison5716!)

After researching local MD sightings I believe that to this day we still have Native BF living in and around Southern MD.

Just curious, what part of southern MD (generally)?

I've seen a bigfoot, but before I saw one I was interested in the topic. Have friends that have seen them also. Origianally from the midwest USA now in Pacific Northwest.
