Hi, I grew up in Illinois, just a couple miles from where the Cole Hollow Monster (Cohomo) was reported. Since hearing about it as a kid, I developed an interest in the possibility of sasquatch existing. I recently fell off the fence into the "most likely exists" camp after viewing the research of Bob Gymlan on youtube. He's a primatologist and leaves sensationalism out of his videos. Highly recommended.

I'm looking forward to focused, intelligent discussions about the possibility of great apes existing in North America.

My name is Tony. I am a "fan" of BF and have been since I was a little boy and saw The Incident at Boggy Creek, read the old Marvel Godzilla comic that featured Yetrigar (a supersized Sasquatch monster) and watched The Six Million Dollar Man Steve Austin battle an alien-created robotic BF. I know a lot of people here seem to think of BF as a pacific, berry eating character, and that's cool (and if they really exist, I can only hope they're like this) but my imagination has always drifted towards the ferocious, feral BF-type. I'm so glad I found these boards!!

Hi! I'm from British Columbia and became interested in Bigfoot after reading about historical references to sightings during the years when this region was being settled. Driving down some of the logging roads near where I live make it easy to see the possibility of Bigfoot still able to live here in the modern era, primarily unseen.

Hello all. My name is Brent. I am not a researcher but am interested in the possibility of the existence of Sasquatch and other strange creatures in the woods of the world. I am a scientist by trade and work near a large government facility in the southeastern US.  In the summer of 2009 various strange events at my work sight opened my mind the possibly of Sasquatch moving through my area.

Hello,

Aspiring Anthropology PhD from Ohio here. I’m a long time believer in Sasquatch and firmly believe that one will be discovered in the near future. I have a Bachelor of Science in Envt. Sciences as well as a Master of Science in Biology. Based on eyewitness descriptions, video evidence, dna samples as well as my limited knowledge of human anthropology I’m a firm believer that Sasquatch is a hominin rather than some sort of great ape. I own about 80 acres in Northern Michigan which I’ve turned into a make shift study site and am attending a Sasquatch conference in Munising, MI next weekend with Dr. Jeff Meldrum. I know now that he’s done more work on dna the last few years that Meldrum’s views are evolving away from his original Gigantopithecus hypothesis which for a time he was quite firm on. I’m very interested to hear where he stands on it now. There are still tickets available and I encourage anyone in the Great Lakes Region to try to make it out there to hear his talk.

Thank you for allowing me to join and I’m looking forward to the future discussions.

Dear All,

Being a Professional  yoga instructor I thoroughly believe in natural phenomena which exist beyond the five senses of the humans. I reside in India so Big foot  is foreign to me.  It was  you tube which first piqued my interest in Big foot and the related mystery behind its existence. The more I read and see about big foot, the more i get convinced about the presence of  more , interesting, natural forces around us. Hope to update my knowledge, and quench my  inquisitiveness on bigfoot  via this platform.

Hello All! I'm Caroline from Marin/Sonoma area of CA just north of SF and the Golden Gate. I'm still amazed at how much info there is on these creatures, and find myself all-in/fascinated., and at this point I don't see how hoaxing COULD possibly explain this phenomenon over centuries, in every culture and language around the globe. If Ray Wallace had achieved that, he should be known for far more than bigfoot.

I found these huge trees woven through other trees about 20 minutes from home, also not too far from George Lucas' Grady Ranch and LucasFilm :) Never seen the creature. Firmly agnostic and respectful.
