Hello.  My name is Charles Lamica.  I've been interested in the bigfoot mystery since the age of 8, when i saw my first bigfoot tracks near our house in southern Oregon.  That was in 1968.  Later in life I spent 22 years as an Alaska State Trooper and am now retired.  I became an investigator with the BFRO in 2009.  I've been on many BFRO expedtions, mostly in Canada and a few in Washington.  I just recently wrote and have had published on Amazon.com a field manual entitled, "Squatcher's Guide to Tracking."

I live in Portland, Oregon and have been fascinated with Bigfoot since childhood throughout the 70s.  It was the Patterson-Gimlin film that started it for me. Back then, I never spoke to family or friends much about my belief in Bigfoot. However, today my 11-year-old daughter shares my enthusiasm, which is awesome! We recently saw some interesting large footprints following deer tracks in some dunes near Ft. Stevens state park on the North Oregon coast. Pretty amazing! My first ever experience with any kind of possible sign of the creature.

Hello BF forum,

My name is Tim and live in Minnesota. I have been doing Bigfoot research for 10 years, though have never had a sighting. I try to collect audio evidence mostly and have captured some interesting things. I am looking forward to discussing the topic with like minded people and having productive discussions. Thank you for the opportunity to join your discussions.

Hi, I'm T and I'm a firm believer that Sasquatch will be found in the future. After all, new animals, plants, and fungi are being found all the time. Seems like every week they pull a new fish out of the Amazon. Anyways, I'm looking into sightings within a reasonable distance from my home state for a project for my college class. I'm currently studying zoology and primatology. I also have some stories of my own, being that im an average fisherman and hunter, and you see a lot of weird things trout fishing in the mountains of Appalachia. Hello all, I'm excited to meet you and hear all your stories!

Hi, I'm Wayne and have had a nominal interest in Cryptozoology for many years.  Starting a couple of years ago, I encountered somewhat odd happenings in a section of wooded area not far from my residence that rekindled my interest on the subject.  I like to glean what information I can from a variety of sources which is how I found this site.

I am Mike from Alabama and I joined Bigfoot Forums to learn as much as I possibly can about Bigfoot and Dogman sightings in my home state.I live in area with multiple sighting reports as far back as the 1800's. My background includes hunting, camping and I have enjoyed the outdoors all my life. I am a trained investigator and visual tracker and am interested in  research.

Thank You for allowing me to join the Forums.

Greetings!  I have had a fascination with Bigfoot since early childhood, when my dad got me hooked on the subject.  We used to watch all manner of monster movies and documentaries back in the day.  His enthusiasm for the strange and mysterious and his delight in passing this on to the kids is one of the things I loved him for the most.  I am no longer a kid and youth has long since vanished from my rear view mirror.  But when I recently had a smash-and-grab theft from my vehicle, one of my first thoughts was, "At least they didn't smash the window with the Patty sticker on it."  Purses and their contents can be replaced.  Childhood loves last forever.

I'm delighted to be here.  Thank you for having me!

Welcome to the Bigfoot Forums. Please use this area to tell us about yourself and briefly how you became interested in Bigfoot!

If you wish to post your BF encounters, experiences and stories, please do so in the appropriate threads- after you introduce yourself here. This is not the area for prolonged or continuous encounter reports because they will simply be deleted. If you need assistance, contact a moderator or administrator.

Thanks and enjoy the forums.

Hello from Tennessee and thank you for allowing me to be apart of Bigfoot Forums. I live near the Great Smoky mountains National Park which has its share of sighting. I have always been interested in this subject. Too many sightings and evidence for them not to be around. Nothing can change my mind.

Thanks again
