Hello all,

I’m new here, but not new to studying Bigfoot. I’m not a field investigator, but I’ve read as much about the topic as I can.

I became interested in cryptozoology as a child. It’s just one of the many facisinating aspects of our world that’s ignored by so many people.

I’m here, now, because I’m fairly certain there are Bigfoot living in a state park, which happens to start at the edge of my yard. I’ve been having a lot of strange experiences.

Greetings!  I've always been very interested in this topic but have never had an encounter personally. Interested in learning more about it as there have been a number of reported encounters in my area

From SE Pennsylvania area.  Have had some odd experiences (this area, South Jersey, and Maine) that could not explain until started to read about BF.  Have not had a Class A sighting (not sure I want to either, sounds terrifying).  Used to enjoy the woods but now nervous and trying to learn as much about the subject.  -SisMike

Hello from Central Texas. My name is Kristina. I joined to learn more about the subject by people who know way more than I do on it. I have only read a few books, watched a couple of documentaries, looked at some youtube videos of sightings and listened to a random podcast here and there, to know this is something I'm not seeing covered in general media so a huge blind spot.  I am sure having access to this forum will be nothing but enriching.

Welcome Bill Harris, TimberBull & JMac!

I'm fascinated by encounter stories, though I have no desire to experience an encounter. I'm an academic with no strong convictions about the nature or existence of Sasquatch, but the experiences some people have had are compelling. I've been casually interested for decades but it has kicked up in recent years, and I'm mainly interested in learning more.

If you wish to post your BF encounters, experiences and stories, please do so in the appropriate threads- after you introduce yourself here. This is not the area for prolonged or continuous encounter reports because they will simply be deleted. If you need assistance, contact a moderator or administrator.

Thanks and enjoy the forums.

Hi everyone. I've been reading and believing in Bigfoot for at least 28 years of my life now. I'm in the panhandle of western Maryland and it's very rural and mountainous. I'm sure that many sightings around here go unreported due to fear of ridicule.

My question is how can people not believe in Bigfoot?  Too many credible witnesses have seen them for me to think otherwise. I've been lurking for a while and this forum is amazing. Lots of interesting reads.

Welcome to the BFF Laura. WVFooter and I frequent the West Virginia woods just South of you, around Elkins. Beautiful country.

Enjoy the forums!
