50 year old. Believe in the possibility of its existence.  Been reading about Sasquatch since I was a boy. Never have had a encounter but my ex wife’s family did around 1976-1977 in east Texas.

Became interested in the topic of Bigfoot 3 years ago, after hearing the most frightening, loudest roar while hiking with my dog. I'm looking forward to learning more.

Welcome Northeasthiker8. This forum is a good place to learn.

I'm curious how your dog reacted to the roar.

Getting back into the discussion scene after a long hiatus. I currently live in Flagstaff, Az and have attended prior expeditions since 2008.

The allure and mystique around this phenomenon continue to evoke and inspire me. Many things exist that are outside of our agreed upon reality and I find this pursuit, along with many others, a welcome contrast to society's highly valued emphasis on commodifying human experiences and devaluing our utter dependence on the natural world. I also like the fact that politics don't have a place on this site and many viewpoints, scientific or otherwise, can be shared.

Hi,

I am a 63 year old retired Software Engineer with a background in amateur, commercial, and, military communications. After first hearing recordings, about 6 months ago, of the "Samurai Chatter" in the collection of Sierra Sounds from the 70s, I realized that I had heard them before in the Catskills also in the late 70s. At the time, of course, I had no idea what I was listening to.

So, for the past 12 months I have been researching Bigfoot information everywhere and kept coming back to this forum. Every now and then I would see a BFF post or thread on something that was new to me so I would go off and research the heck out of it. Some members that come to mind are gigantor and norseman but I know there were others. When GuyInIndiana posted his audio files on YouTube, I went nuts thinking that this is perhaps the best contribution I've seen in the pandemic year of 2020. So to get his latest posted audio files and more information from this BFF resource, I signed up.

I probably won't post much but I wanted members to know that this forum is a great resource of information!
