Finally got that header on my Escort Wagon, sounds fruitier, I haven't had it out on the open road yet though. Found a messed up EGR pipe and grungy plug contacts while I was at it, so with those fixed and a non-restrictive exhaust on it, I'm hoping I'm back into the 30s for mpg, if I keep my foot out of it.

Nathan, those Trackers are amazingly capable. Don't knock it. Throw in a VW diesle, convert to burn old frier oil, and foot to your heart's content.

NCBRR is that really your rig? If so I'm in love.

Cerv, I know I've said it a thousand times, but I'm in love with your Jeep.

The temptation has got to be exhausting! (Pun intended)

Griz, I wanted one just like that for my first car so bad, but I ended up with a 1993 Z28 Camaro instead, turns out to be far more powerful.

I highly doubt any 93 Z would have beat this thing in the 1/4 mile. Ran high 12's and was built to the hilt. It had a 400 Big Block and I could get the front tires off the ground. Sway bars front and rear, traction bar in the rear. It was a beast. I have dreams about it to this day.

Saw it at a car show and it was for sale for $6500. The next show it was 5500. The following show it dropped again and I finally bought it for 4500. Chrome everywhere under the hood, even the hinges, which was somewhat rare at the time.

It's true. Girls like hot cars.

Colossus I love my little tracker, I really like it for 2 reasons 1 it is small and has good grip on the soil. 2 it gets nearly 50 to the gallon.

Nathan it doesn't sound like you need the VW engine then, lol.

Griz, I didn't mean your car specifically, I was refering to, say, a stock one. In which case that 93 had about 125 hp on a stock late 70's early 80's Camaro. Either way I love me an F-Body.

I kinda figured. TPI was hot in its day.

That thing was so fun. I had an alpine 3557 amp and a bazooka tube installed in it. Washed it every other day.
