Guest
Hopefully since the series has been picked up for more episodes MM and team will have alot more creative input and a little control over the editing of the next series. Would certainly make for more entertainment value and that's what it's all about for Animal Planet. I hope at today's gathering in Oregon where production crew and MM, Cliff, BoBo, and Ranae are all present to meet, greet, drink beer, and take questions that somebody in the crowd zips the production crew a few opinions of their "creative touches, editing and dumb questions". We shall see!
Guest MidnightWalkerSE
Imagine that. Cliff says they don't understand words (only gestures) and then the sas let them hear them talking and/or are heard talking. Sorry Cliff, they do understand you and they do speak and have language. I couldn't believe that they're having this activity and they leave. I truly think these guys are a tad scared of the bigs. Why in the world would they leave with activity? I wish that I could have been there. That was a chance for an awesome experience that they missed out on. Guest
I must say I agree with your assertion, MWSE, that staying longer in an area with supposed activity would be a good thing. I guess the "I'll be damned, there's one right there as I'm filming him" episode probably isn't in the can.

They got to the swamp area, get yelled at by a would-be sas and next thing you know they're back in the studio looking over nothing. If these folks aren't up to the task, they shouldn't be out there. Destination Truth is about the only show that has people who stick with the task even though the trip is brief.

Guest LAL
I'm actually enjoying the SW Washington episode. Of course, that's my old stompin' ground so I'm somewhat biased. One of the stories I heard in Skamania County involved whistling. The Dark Divide is 76,000 acres, not square miles as Renae said. The Silver Star photos aren't "new". I could live without the guy in the suit but the recreations sure make the PGF look good. Other than that I'm actually enjoying the episode. Guest wudewasa
Wow, so because the BFRO team hears some noises in the woods, measures the stride of a purported squatch, the photos of Bobo don't match the the original Silver Star pics, and therefore MM deduces that there are sasquatches in the area?! Wait, the AP crew EDITED the footage to make him say that! Yeah, that's the ticket! Here's a thought: when reenacting a situation, you try to recreate the scenario as accurtately as possible. So, time of year/day/visibility on Silver Star mtn would be prudent. Heck, if Bobo is that cold, give the guy a big fluffy dark colored down parka to wear, complete with a hood that gives the wearer a shape reminiscent of a conical head. THEN compare the two sets of photos. Likewise, when investigating the fisherman's report, why not GO FISHING instead of canoeing around the lake in a blind with a remote controlled decoy with a camera inside? Bigfoot is reported to be attracted to fresh fish, so why not catch or buy a few and create a similar situation? Perhaps the team would have better luck finding these guys:

Because everytime they replayed the recording of the supposed BF's talking then they would start talking over top of it. I think there needs to be less people in the "cast" for this show. Its rather annoying. I can't tell you how much I dislike Renae and sincerely hope Bigfoot kidnaps her and takes her off somewhere so she will shut up! Is there an online recording of the BF talking possibly? I think so far this is the best episode of this series I have seen. Last week's show using the rabbit in cage was lame as it was a good idea that they didn't fully play out. I really think these guys don't stay in one spot long enough to possibly find anything and are using high tech ideas and equipment that might be very useful if they just conducted the actual investigation more professionally. Guest Tsalagi
I personally thought the whistling was an owl. Owls make a lot of different sounds. The howl was interesting though.
Guest
I personally thought the whistling was an owl. Owls make a lot of different sounds. I don't know, what (or who) whistled.. but I've never heard any NA Owl species, that could produce that exact whistle sound. I could be missing something (?). Guest Southwind Monkey
This show is getting lamer with each episode (If that is possible). Contrary to what a previous poster wrote Ranae is the only sane one in the bunch. I think this group could find signs of “Bigfoots†(I really hate it when Moneymaker says that, it sounds so stupid) in Times Square on New Year’s Eve! I’ll watch the last show only because I’ve stuck with it this far. I really want to believe, I truly do, but this show is eroding my belief quickly. I’ll leave my final critique of the show until I’ve seen that final episodes but so far I have noticed a lot of contradiction in the episodes. Guest Yeti1974
For an episode based in Sasquatch Central, this was a disappointing show.
Guest Tsalagi
I thought the photos that guy took on top of mountain were better than any I've ever seen. For those saying they really want to believe you obviously aren't going out alone in the wilderness enough...or you would be made a believer. I didn't used to believe either... well till I saw one then years later moved to mountains and dealt with constant woodknocks, hearing the **** bloody howl at 5am fishing alone on top of a mesa and then getting lost in same area and being followed for hours by something really big were the final straws. I actually saw one years earlier but didn't fully compute what it was because they look different than the Hollywood and Patterson portrayal of some fat, dumpy-butt ape. I could be missing something (?). There's a BF website that has owl sound files on it and some of them sound like the sounds others have said were BF. They make very non-birdlike sounds. By the way...what also whistles in the woods? Rabbits do when they are in distress.
Guest MidnightWalkerSE
Personally, I think the whistle took a back seat to the accounts of speech around them. I'd say the whistle was more than likely corroborated by the speech. But where are all the folks that blanketly discounted our audio a week ago. Here you have it right on TV and then all the sudden it's BFRO that is confirming sasquatch have speech. Yeah whatever. MM threw me off his site for stating the bigs had speech. And Moneymaker had to basically admit to it last night. As to the show, I found it terribly weak that they didn't have parabolic gear to capture some of that audio. In fact their audio sucks. I could not believe that those guys (or so it seemed) cut out of there right after they heard the talking all around them. I think they got freaked and it's a testament that they don't know what they're doing or dealing with. Barackman does a hell of a call and I like Bobo but they all lack the short game (like golf it's the most important) imho. All in all it was an ok show but also frustrating because of the aforementioned stuff. You have to focus Matt. If you have activity right there, you give it some time. I think that they are so pressed for time that they have take what they get then quickly do the filler stuff in case they get nothing more. However last night they bugged out because they got creeped out imho.
