Chim Chim Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Hmm, weird one, blood all over his hammock but it wasn’t tore up like it would be if something attacked him in it. Wonder if he was suicidal, I had a coworker who killed himself by slitting his throat one time. Shocked us not only because he did it but the manner he choose as well.
Redbone Posted August 2 Posted August 2 sorry to bump an old thread, but I found this video to be interesting and informative. 1 1

There are mistakes I have found for sure. But there is some very weird cases. And there is a weird relationship with the government concerning some of these cases.
RedHawk454 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) I've had my suspicions about Paulides for years, especially since the skeleton of dennis martin was allegedly found by ginseng poachers back in the 80's. I don't remember where I read it but a skeleton of a boy who would've been the size and age of dennis martin and in the vicinity of where he was taken was allegedly found by ginseng poachers sometime in the 80's who anonymously reported it to authorities. Are you sure? As-reported, true, however, I'm not sure that aspect of what is reported isn't fabricated for purposes of creating drama where none existed thus creating sales opportunity where none existed. In other words, the notion of a gov't conspiracy is Paulides' conspiracy. And others .. he's not the only one making a living on the appearance of solving a mystery that doesn't actually exist. P.T. Barnum would be proud. Those cases where I've talked to people who were involved in the search present things in a different manner than Paulides. The loss of life is tragic but not particularly mysterious.

The problem is that the Government has been involved in so many cover ups? How would it stop with cryptids? MK Uktra, The Trinity tests, the Muskogee syphilis tests, Agent Orange, etc (I won’t mention UFOs again). I had run ins with biologists lying through their teeth when they were trying (and succeeded) in getting our hound seasons closed forever. And as a firefighter of 17 years? I never saw armed Green Berets land and do a SAR search on their own. Thats extremely bizarre. So while Paulides may not be a saint? There is absolutely a kernel of truth there. MIB? You are a knower. Tell me what are the odds with all of the surveillance in the Feds arsenal today? Military, border patrol, state LE, Fire air assets, etc. What are the odds that they DO NOT know this creature exists? I would say that it’s ZERO. IMHO. So why are they dragging their feet when it comes to a USPS missing persons list? Or why do they do Bigfoot Aprils Fools day jokes on their website? Native Americans tell us Bigfoot is a cannibal and a kidnapper. I am not saying every missing persons case was Bigfoot related. But here is my statement! If only ONE of these cases is Bigfoot related and my government failed to warn me and my family about the dangers involved with stepping on their trail? It’s beyond criminal! They knew and they chose silence.

Trogluddite Posted 25 minutes ago Posted 25 minutes ago ^^^ Answered on p.25, 15 pages ago. "A Green Beret presence for a missing child is unprecedented." This is why I like primary sources – the Wikipedia article on the Dennis Martin disappearance has several links to contemporaneous newspaper articles on this case and the Case Study at fn 17 talks about the Green Berets as well. The SF Soldiers were already in the area for training. Could have been a Q course class (don’t know where they did those in the 60s) or it could have been a Group just training in the deep woods, but it does not appear that they were sent there to look for DM. They were there, and in an on-the-spot decision, decided to train by searching from what I can see in those reports. Unless there was a government coverup to hide why they were .... oh wait, wrong thread!!
