The Ketchum Report

Until facts emerge that move this story in another direction, I am just taking Dr. Ketchum at her word. Albeit, her limited words.

It may or may not prove true but here is a credible person, that claims to have scientific evidence sasquatches exist. That is exciting. I will stop believing her claims when presented with facts, not just speculation.

It is taking a long time. I remember believing LAST October was a key date at one point. It is frustrating. Yet, she says it's coming and everyone should exercise patience.

I am not taking the position she is telling the truth or that is she part of another hoax or conspiracy. I am just not going to assume anything and let it play out.

But, that's just me.

From my own experience in the printing industry and other industries requiring extensive preparation prior to production, I'm not at all shocked to note that Dr. Ketchum may have indicated imminent publication to then find that the date had been pushed back or additional work had been requested. Anyone involved with manufacturing or media are familiar with the concept of initial estimates to completion getting thrown out the window. Heck, I've had printing projects that were "hot-hot-hot, have to be completed within a month" get dragged out to four years due to buyers and designers inability to come up with a design. In the publication industry you add the issues of prepublication, the peer review and editorial process.

Even once the paper has been accepted for publication the final selection of actual date of publication will be determined by publication schedule. Thoughts that this is so earth shattering that it should "stop presses" and be 1st up on the queue are naive. Final layout, graphics, and the fact that at least one journal are already "put to bed" and ready for plating and the printing press are some of the factors involved. These aren't photocopiers or your home printer turning out the journals, these are multimillion dollar printing presses the length of a football field manned by a 3-4 man crew 24/7 that cost hundreds of dollars per hour for operation.

Take a breath.

In order to publish fast, I would expect limited data and limitied conclusions. I've heard rumors he doesn't want to publish before Ketchum, or undermine the project.

That would mean they are working together eh? Maybe the Ketchum DNA study is much bigger than what most imagine.

Leaves the door open to be left out. What happens in the hypothetical situation of some hitherto unknown party pre empting the findings?

This all can become moot when the results on the tests from my collected samples come back. The number of samples collected alone could give 10 labs all they would need. There are a lot of people who would publish the DNA results without a bunch of subterfuge.

There are some who would publish faster just to spite. This is a sensational issue. Publish or perish no? First to do so stands to be in a much better position.

I think Sykes will publish first. Some people have sent the same samples to both Ketchum and Sykes. Sykes will report all supposed bigfoot samples tested as known animals or regular human. Ketchum will dispute these results claiming she found something Sykes didnt, but due to nda's and journal embargo she can't talk about it. Over the next few years she will slowly start fading into the background with little hints of "soon" whispered in the breeze, until one day she is just a long forgotten memory.

the end

I think Sykes will publish after Ketchum, Some people have sent the same samples to both Ketchum and Sykes. Sykes will report that some supposed bigfoot samples tested as unknown animals and or with sequences he cannot find in any animal, and potentially from a new contemporary feral hominin. These findings will slow him down and draw him deeper into the genome. Ketchum will have already shown these results. Over the next few years, Sykes will confirm all the findings.

I think Sykes will publish first, while Ketchum is still sorting out all the in-fighting between the various "stakeholders" in her study (Erikson, et al).

Furthermore I think it will turn out that Sykes either had in hand or lined up a bunch of samples before he even put out his "call for samples". That's the only explanation I can see for him giving such a tight sample to publication timeline.

Ketchum just posted this link on her Facebook page:

http://www.indiegogo.com/GenesisQuestProject1

and said the following: "I think this is a good cause. I am curious as to how the results will come out, how about you?"

Now go read the article.

Turning a pyramid into a power plant?

Anti-gravity technology possessed by the ancients?

Yeah this bigfoot DNA study ain't looking good IMO.

Now I'm a huge history and anthropology buff and some of the most interesting new findings are pushing back the dates of human firsts including populating the western hemisphere. It will also not surprise me if someday they do identify an ice age fairly advanced maritime culture. But most of the ideas in that article are nothing short of fantastical bunk.

Yeah. Not looking good.

ah so squatch is one of these ancient geniuses, That's why its so elusive. Maybe the squatches do have cloaking devices and can jump through worm holes into other dimensions using there ancient technology. I wonder if they developed a chemical that they can spray on their scat to make it disappear.
