Madison5716 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I usually say bigfoot because that is what most people are familiar with, for better or worse. Not particularly fond of the term sasquatch. I also refer to them as Forest Giants, but that gets even more odd looks. I often wonder what they call themselves?

Does is take away from the credibility of the creature and the researchers who study it? Does it matter? What about the other names like Yeti, Swamp Booger, and Hairy Man? Its as good as any name. No. No. Producing a body does. Mugwamp ============================== There has been a rash of hairy cryptid name threads of late….. I wonder why?🤔
guyzonthropus Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 Sabe? Kinda like s(asquatch)(b)abe....I like "big furries" myself But it seems Bigfoot is what the media uses to imply an implausible story, when a newscast uses sasquatch it seems like they're at least giving it a bit of credibility. I'm fond of Kushtaka as well. what do they call themselves? Wouldnt be funny if, like the native americans, called themselves the Human Beings and wondered just how distantly they re related to us? "But look at the foot structure! Ok, so they're so primative they have yet to evolve a mid-tarsal break, they still must be something closer than those **** raccoons!"
