Sasquatch's General Disposition

Hi Y'All!  So, the other day my 12 year old nephew and I were discussing Sasquatch.  He, like a lot of folks, has been taught that they do not exist.  As he says, "Bigfoot ain't real."  Beings that I have had my own experiences with the Wild Man of the Woods, I told him in no uncertain terms that they most certainly do exist and I know because I have seen them up close and personal.  He laughed at me, saying , "Oh Auntie CiCi!  It's just the old Hippie chick in ya!"  Ha!  But our conversation has been knocking around his brain some.  Today he asks me do I think Sasquatch is wicked mean like many of the podcasts and videos on YouTube portray them or are they nice and kind...gentle creatures who are mostly just curious  and sometimes mischievous.  I told him that I think they are like people, in that there are good ones and bad ones.  What do y'all think?

Sounds pretty on the mark, from what I've read up on they seem to chose peace/indifference first and violence last. There are bad people but most people are good, despite what social media may have people believe. So yeah *thumbs up*

I think any Earthling that chooses to remain so hidden must be inherently non aggressive. Like Black bears, they're only violent towards humans if they have to be :)

I believe they are curious and mischievous until they are threatened for the most part. However, personalities can vary from one life form to another and from one species to another and from one individual to another. You tick a mean sparrow off and you are relatively safe. Tick off a docile bull elk, moose, grizzly bear and you've got a whole nother story. Tick one of those off that are particularly mean and you have yet another story. I think it could be the same for sasquatches.

Thats black bears, theres no indication that bigfoot eats people. The few "Kidnapping" stories about bigfoot jacking some sap in their sleeping bag reads more like they carry them back to the family and dump them in their midst and then go about their business. Reads more like they wanted a new dna doner.

That statement is speculative hyperbole.

What statement? That black bears are predatory towards humans? Even with the "scientific" reference included?

You are very pugnacious.

The OP pointed at Bigfoot's actions towards humans, you said "Or if they're hungry".... the connotation is what it is, and... in my own close range encounters with black bears (East Coast granted), they aint that aggressive as a rule. I'm not anything, just bored as hell with opinion posted like its fact let alone canon of faith.

I wrote that immediately under a post that stated that black bears are "only violent towards humans if they have to be", and I included a reference as extremely strong evidence that black bears can be predatory towards humans. You apparently have difficulty understanding such postings. I also fully expect you to continue your pugnacious assertiins regarding my posts and positions. So by all means, please continue. I'm having the time of my life.

In my neck of the woods they arent, they flip garbage cans because they are opportunists, rather than your paranoic narrative,

That's very understandable. There is probably lots of garbage for them to pick through. My neighborhood is Alaska. The Land of Bears. They behave like bears here, not solid waste collection specialists.
