The comments cross many decades in Washington State concerning the big guy. 1969, the Skamania County ordinance protecting Sasquatch. 1970 Gov. Dan Evans tongue-in-cheek proposal for a 'State Monster'. 1991 Whatcom County 'Sasquatch Refuge'. The 1970 Gov.
