Sorry about your loss and friends and family are always the hardest.  The cast and the report are both impressive.  The largest print I've heard about was from a geologist in BC checking out a possible ore find for a mining company.  He and his pilot took a float plane in and started in the direction of the deposit and ran into prints 24" long and 8-10 across.  They left the area right after that😊

I got these from Russ Jones who got them from Frank a while back along with a couple others from his collection. My details are about as much as yours, I had it mistaken with a '99 18in long cast from the same research area. But if I remember correctly, this cast was found a few weeks after a small rash of sightings were reported and Frank went out. He found a few tracks but this was the clearest one from that trip. Neither of the Oregon links provided are the reports from Frank associated with this particular cast. You've got a rare one though, it's a good one to have passed down to you.
