Actually, changes in construction projects have occurred in the UK and Ireland. There is a plethora of special entities over there and they have existed through the ages. Damaging a bush or tree that they hang out in is hazardous. The DeLorean factory construction destroyed a special bush. The Hawthorn tree / bush may have special meaning in the UK and Ireland. I can't recall the roadway, but construction was changed so that the road went around a Hawthorn tree. Hawthorn trees are left alone and avoided. The U.S. does not have the history that the UK has. The U.S. has forms of 'tricksters' and 'little people'. I am not going to touch skinwalkers or dogmen. Animals on the endangered species list stop construction projects. It sounds like if we were in the UK? We wouldn’t have to worry about proving anything to science.

I am just getting warmed up. I wanted to make a post on St. Patricks' day but was blocked by the new firewall. The M18 Motorway in Ireland has one of the famous Hawthorn Trees. Score: Fairies 1, science 0. The delay cost extra tax payer dollars and about 10 years behind schedule. The tax payers approved the extra money to move the motorway project. That Hawthorn Tree is considered to be a portal for the Kerry / Munster Fairies and the Cannaught Fairies to do battle. That portal is their link to the 'Otherworld'. Portals. Why is it portals? This forum has a lot of members in Wales, England, Scotland and Ireland. Places of deep history and high strangeness. I want to know more about the 'Grey Man' and 'Selkies'. 2

They are now trying to put you in jail for refusing to say that a biological male is a woman, so they obviously don't care one bit about science, or facts. Scotland's new hate crime law comes into force (bbc.com) In regards to how classifying BF as an endangered species would help them or not, I find it curious that their habitat is so completely random based on reporting data. They have been spotted everywhere from dense forests in Canada, to agricultural fields and neighborhoods in the Midwest. If you want to get BF listed as an Endangered Species, fine. But how do you define it's habitat and range? If you base it off of sightings, then you are dealing with a massive area in which restricting habitat destruction based on a listing would be devastating economically to tens of thousands of communities.

guyzonthropus
Take the habituators who have ongoing interaction with one of more sasquatch. They often convey a protective attitude, and a desire not to invade their neighbors lives, instead living side by side. They seem quite convinced that if they produce conclusive evidences(clear video, dna, a meet and greet luncheon)that it will result in the sasquatch leaving or being harmed/exploited, which stands to reason.... As I've said before, I don't see these guys as some new world forest ape, but rather a remnant pleistocene megafauna hominid which very much complicates the issue of disclosure, because it's no longer "just" an endangered species, it's now something that could easily merit rights, and protections that go well beyond the ESA. In regards to the elimination of apex predators, it could prove out that it was the subsequent explosion In the deer population that has allowed the sasquatch to make a come back across the country. It also would seem their cognitive abilities have allowed some to exist off the refuse of our excesses.

I'm not an expert in stats and numbers but it sure seems to me maps like these are full of errors. How many of these reports would be scored on the same level credibility? Maps like these (and I have seen them on TV shows) make it seem like bigfoot is everywhere. These reports are just that- reports but shouldn't be weighted the same. If we had a map showing all the spots where Bigfoot was thought to potentially photographed or filmed, this map would look pretty spotty. If we had one showing any PGF-level film or video or Bigfoot, you could count the spots on one hand. Edited June 3 by Backdoc
Dave
If I were a billionaire, I'd post an eight-figure offer to anyone who bags one of these things. I'd create an industry and sell rugs, slippers, etc.

That amount would cover the legal expenses defending a murder charge with leftovers. https://share.snipd.com/chapter/da8a3297-2eda-4775-9de9-a570a96f7608

Backdoc
23 hours ago, MIB said: Based on what science? Or is this just an unsupported belief? From your Q, I’m sure my answer will fall pretty short. I’ll try to answer the best I can esp since I tend to like your posts: For each dot on a map there was a report, the dot for a single report in same area as a dot from 10 reports on some area area. One dot could mean 1 or 100. Also, there is no way to distinguish 2 similar dots on quality. You could have a dot representing 2 Park Rangers and 3 campers seeing a Bigfoot in Washington state. Some other additional single dot in Des Moines, Iowa might be from a 90 year old man seeing Bigfoot at night while forgetting his glasses. One dot should be weighted much higher the other but the map doesn’t show that. A single dot might mean multiple reports but instead appears as a single report. Not sure about the “science” angle. I’ll just say a map like this in style or spirit (on an unrelated matter) makes more sense to me:
