Bigtex
It would be great to get some input from folks about this recent BFRO Report - Report #31302, Michigan, Muskegon County, 1979. In particular, read the comments below the report, very interesting, and eludes to different Races of the Bigfoot creature. My own opinion is there are at least two Races of a Bigfoot type creature in the USA, and described in this report........what do you guys think? Also, the woman in the report seems to know a lot more than she is writing about, did anyone else get the same impression?
Bigtex
WOW......what a change a few days of rain will make. Beautiful hiking yesterday, and went in the rain. The creeks have been bone dry all summer, full & running now. I'll be hitting it pretty good this week looking for tracks. Here's an interesting find, and was relatively fresh when I ran across it. Something made a real Ninja move, as outlined in red. It jumped from the top rock about 20+ feet, appeared to slide sideways on one foot, and then a series of slides/steps as shown with the red line. The picture doesn't do the distances involved justice, and I just can't see a human duplicating this without injury or a least falling.......a close up of the initial slide. Guest
I love this thread. Love your wolf and pooch, and love the little pond. Very cool indeed.
Guest Thepattywagon
Is that a skeleton in the bottom of the first pic, Bigtex?
Bigtex
Yes that is, and is what's left of a huge strange hairless 'dog creature' that I found several years ago, looked just like the hairless creatures they were calling Chupacabra's in Texas a few years back. FYI.......I still have the head wrapped up in my garage, if anyone is interested.......will take a picture and post.

Bigtex
Hey JohnC......good to hear from you, and here you go. These pictures were taken several weeks after death, but can't find the ones I took the day it was found, and fairly 'fresh'.......might be in an old computer. Anyway, the thing was big, and didn't have any hair. I posted these pictures in the old BF Forum. Someone had responded on the skull picture, and said it most closely resembled a Grey Wolf.......who knows, but it is creepy, and glad I didn't run across it live. I found it 2 days after huge flash floods all through the area several years back, and believe it drowned. Later on, I took the skull, and moving the body to higher ground so it wouldn't wash away. My thinking there was that somebody might want the remains to test, as there was kind of a Chupacabra craze back then.
Bigtex
Hey Thepattywagon.......took another picture today of the 'jump n slide' from a few posts back, and the rest of the slide down to the creek. When whatever it was jumped and slid down the hill, it scattered what's left of the Chupa bones all over the place. In fact, right after I took the picture today, Lucy the Wolf grabbed the hip bone, carried & chewed on it for a few miles, and dropped it somewhere. Bigtex
In 10 years of hiking this area, I had never seen this hidden lake dry up until last year. Picture of the 'normal' lake, last year during the drought, and the way it looked yesterday........things are changing, minor changes, but overall kinda scary. My familiarity with the area helps me to notice all the subtle changes, and is becoming more dry & arid........too many people flushing toilets in the area:)
Bigtex
I apologize......hope I'm not posting too much! Anyway, we had speculated on the forum a while back what the heck this tiny adult skull that I found was, and the mystery might be solved - a Short-Tailed Shrew! Guest Cervelo
BigTex, I don't think anyone will ever have a problem with you posting "to much"!!!! The lake pics are amazing.....land in transition for sure, not sure if it's bad or good but it is a pretty meadow!
Bigtex
Thanks Cervelo, very much appreciated! Seems to be a fair amount of barefoot activity in the area of late, but it could just be the recent rain, and the soil moisture is just right for prints. Here's an interesting one, and appears to have two tracks, one over the other, and perpendicular to each other.......looks like the same individual too. Have marked in red the outline & direction. Also found this cool piece of wood, and is perfect for hiding my cameras for my home-made camera traps. Work some greenery around it, and will be very hard to detect. Bigtex
Thanks Coach.......you guys always keep me inspired! Here's a re-visit. Haven't hiked through the funnel since spring, too much heat, plus don't like to go through there to much due to the high animal traffic under the bridge, as I don't wanna disrupt any travel patterns. Anyway, some 'before & after' photos. The lack of rain, and subsequent lack of flash-flooding under the bridge, AKA 'The Funnel', which usually keeps it pretty clear of plant life, is outta control thick.......never seen it like this. It's been a while since talking about The Funnel, and for those new to this thread, is the only bridge for many miles on the Highway near my research area, and is used by many different species to travel from one wooded area to another, under the Highway. Another 'before & after' of a weird Alter deal I found several years back......an old photo, and one taken yesterday - stuff has been re-arranged and added, wonder who does this? It's in a remote area, and half the time I can't even find it, and I know where to look. Last picture is some kind of portal to an underground waterway/spring, and when I approached to try and crawl in there and look around......I heard deep growls, decided to leave the area, dogs wouldn't go near it either. Bigtex
Found this leg & knee bone......a White Tail Deer, and left very nicely on this rock, I didn't put it there........weird.
