Anyone know why/how this thread has dried up? Is it/has it continued in premium access? By far and away my most interesting read on here in a while. Thanks bipto and thanks to those that questioned for making it so...

Ok, I captured the audio to my desktop and did some processing. Here are the files. GE at the end of the file name = Graphic Equalized (bands from 250 to 1000 hz not touched the rest reduced. HR = Hiss Reduction and HS = Half Speed.

Listen to the last utterance in the half speed one a few times and tell me what you hear.

Am I the only one who hears "Let me in" at the end of this file?

The only phrases I hear are 'Get back' and 'Back Away!'.

At the 1:05 point I the slowed audio what I hear is "just step away". Where do you hear "let me in"?

Until they release something tangible or collect a specimen it just a story. A good story, but a story non the less.

Bipto,

I've been listening to your shows. You take some skeptics to task for essentially having closed minds, for not taking into account facts or ideas that run counter to their beliefs. Haven't you committed a similar error when you refuse to accept the possibility of hoaxing at Area X? You say you were there and no hoaxing took place---end of story. Yet there are signs that suggest hoaxing: you found a "sniper's nest" overlooking the cabins, yet incredibly attribute this to a Wood Ape; whenever cameras were placed around the cabins, activity ceased or lessened---when the cameras were moved from the cabins area and placed in areas where there was activity, the activity ceased in that area and picked up near the cabins, developments you apparently find more consistent with Wood Apes than with hoaxers. You admit that TBRC is apparently harassed more than other folks renting or using the cabins, and (to my mind) incredibly attribute this fact to the memory of anomalous apes rather than to informed hoaxers.

I'm not arguing with your Bigfoot beliefs in this post. I'm just wondering why you do not recognize the contradiction between your criticism of skeptics as lacking openness to new information even as you are staring at events that seriously imply hoaxing and refuse to move off your "no hoaxing" declarations.

As I've said several times, we have observed things that people cannot do as well as things people would not do. It's just that simple. I don't feel the need to go over all the specifics yet again, but this is not people.

So, when I say we cannot be being hoaxed, it's based on direct observation. When others say we are being hoaxed, they're speaking from a position of ignorance. The only possibilities are we are either telling the truth or lying. At this time, we don't have anything that can prove we're telling the truth, so everyone will have to judge what we say on its merits.

I hear nothing but jibberish in that recording. Exactly what I heard there in May. Just jibberish.

I'm more of a reader than a poster. Love this thread, thanks to Bipto for all his answers to questions. I want to get my post count to 75 so I can read premium.

Hi Bipto

During operation endurance its mentioned that on july 3rd an animal was fired upon by a team member. The animal was only observed for 3secs at a distance of 90ft and an automatic shotgun was fired at it. If i remember rightly it was around 1915hrs (sunset approx 2030hrs) so im guessing light was beginning to fade especially given tree/thick veg cover.

Are you able to answer why the shot was taken in that situation given those conditions?

Did the team member feel threatened in any way or was it accident/opportunistic. Was an order given to shoot on sight or did someone freak out at their possible 'first contact'.

Is this person still a part of the team and if so are they still actively involved in field research? Apols I know the thread is about persistence but Im curious to know some of the other background research that led up to the latest op.

Many thanks

G

It's hardly unique to the BFF, but these kinds of posts always amuse me. "I've read hardly anything and invested little of my own time, but could you repeat yourself for the 23rd time so I don't have to go look for my own answers?"

Daryl clearly saw the animal in profile as it moved though a clearing in the brush. Covered in reddish-brown hair from the top of its pointy head all the way down to the middle of its legs (which is what Daryl could see). He knew exactly what it was from the moment he saw it.
