Guest Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 The rock stacks are intriguing. If you've ever been to western Ontario they are everywhere. As a kid they drove me crazy because my dad could not explain what they were for and he wouldn't let me ask the Canadian Indians, as he considered that to be in poor taste. He always said they were markers of some kind. Ok so now I'm 64 and the last time I was in Ontario they were still everywhere and I still don't know what they mean. Supposedly they tell you where you can find shelter, water, or help. Still drives me crazy.
