My poor truck is on its last legs and I am in the process of retiring it.

It has served me well, hut it needs way too much work now.

Need to fix up my utility trailer so that I can tow my atv

What are you going to replace it with?

I feel for you.

One of my least favorite things is buying vehicles.

We were supposed to be out this weekend in one of our main areas, but this part of the country has been getting hit hard by storms over the last few weeks.

Weather was forecasted as heavy thunderstorms.  I wanted to chance it but got outvoted.  Lucky for that, as the area that we were going to got hit hard by storms, hail, and tornadoes.

Hopefully, it will be better next week.  I am eager to get out again especially before the summer heat rolls in on us.

Hope that the rest of you are getting out this weekend!

Funny how it is that in a team of 2 the lady can always manage to outvote...

Yeah, funny how that works. Seems to happen more often when it's my idea, too ;)

Filmed a black bear with my drone today. Currently uploading videos onto YouTube. Was surveying our grinding job and was like, what’s that black dot?

Got fairly close. Pretty cool tool.

^^^^ Was the bear aware of the drone when the drone closed the distance?

In the end the bear bailed. But I was under the canopy when it did. I was pretty surprised it hung around as long as it did.

Around the 10:30 mark I notice something. We are working a DNR grinding job on our own place. I was using the drone to survey some roads and boundaries. I noticed a black dot when I was looking at the progress of a road we made. I clicked the record button not realizing Wyatt had bumped it early. So second video of Bear is uploading now.

Same flight. Landed with about 10% battery life left. Once the bear goes into the tree line. I didn’t see him again.

What was that, about 150 to 200 yds from your rig?
