I’m more than prepared. I expect it. And I’m to the point of approving that public statement. Like I’ve stated numerous times in the past, it is my opinion that science as an industry is completely corrupt with regard to this subject, among others. I also know how to deal with them collectively as well as individually: ignore and bypass them like one would ignore and bypass a radical religious sect (which is what they have become). Simply inch forward scientifically without them, and stop engaging them. What sasquatchery needs is an unfunded (or underfunded) Jane Goodall. To Hell with the ivy covered institutions. The methodology involved for doing that is, or should be, primary. Saying one is needs to go out and shoot one is an enormously obvious and ambiguous generality as is needing to go out and find a dead one or a skeleton. Those methodologies are generalities; we all know that at least one of those needs to occur. Each two approaches are difficult enough without factoring in whether or not one could successfully get that body or skeleton to where it needs to go for verification. As far as a Goodall type of program? We supposedly already have Habituators engaging in something akin to a Goodall approach. A gorilla will sit for a photo or video. Habituators say that Sasquatch will not. So one could have a thousand Goodalls but would it do any good?

We supposedly already have Habituators engaging in something akin to a Goodall approach............ Precious few of the supposed habituation reports are believable, and so far none of them have produced any solid scientific answers about them, like: Homo or ape? Lifespan? Seasonal movements? Language? Tool use? Etc. .......... A gorilla will sit for a photo or video. Habituators say that Sasquatch will not. So one could have a thousand Goodalls but would it do any good? The bullspit regarding their refusal to allow their photograph to be taken is just that: bullspit. If trust is built up to allow minimal habitation, photographs can be taken. But photographs are meaningless. The PG film has proven that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Even a top quality motion picture film will advance this “discovery” fantasy not an inch. DW Grieve nailed it with his review of the PG fIlm in 1972. The admission that sasquatches are out there is simply more than even scientists can bear emotionally. Unless the motion picture is on film (not digital), of top quality, of a very large male, accompanied with good footprints like the PG event, and the scene/evidence processed and preserved better than the Simpson/Goldman murder scene, a motion picture will not solve anything. Only a corpse will do, and even then, it must be delivered with fanfare and legal proof of delivery, or it will simply disappear. In fact, I suspect that these facts are well and painfully known by others. The conspicuous absence of people within the sasquatch community in this very forum as well as in the literary world and internet makes me think that some may be advancing research secretly. More power to them.
Twist
I love the whole, “BF doesn’t allow photos” angle. Yes because BF knows what cameras are! Also the “they avoid trail cams on purpose”, why because they are man made? Smell like plastic? So do the coolers they’ll supposedly raid, or parts of the houses they have no problem slapping at night, let’s not get into the smells associated with a vehicle at the trailhead! Rubbish I say, rubbish!
James33
What do you think it would take to actually make the discovery (assuming it exists)? If Bill Gates said, "I'll write you a check - you have 1 year" what do you think it would take to assure success? It's not a ghost or inter-dimensional being. If it exists, it's simply an animal. As Twist said, it can't purposefully avoid trail cams or understand human technology so as to remain hidden. So what would it take? How much money, how many people, and what would such an expedition look like? As for a known body "disappearing" after being discovered, I call crap on that - what kind of conspiracy theory are talking about and for what reason? We discover new insects and plants every year and there is no cover up. Why would bigfoot be any different? Just drag the thing to city hall and dump in front of the news cameras and the medical examiner. Cut it up and send pieces to several different zoos/wildlife biologists. Were you by yourself? What was the weather like? Any chance you are mistaken due to being tired, under the influence of anything, or hallucinating? Did you stop to check for any evidence? Attempt to follow them? in order of: Colorado, Hiway 62, Dallas Divide summit. September 1990, about 9:30 PM Yes Clear, no moon, no rain or wind I'd been driving about 2 hours. So no, don't do drugs (including alcohol) and not prone to hallucinations. I came to a full stop. Did not get out of the truck- seemed risky, as the first was about 6 feet tall seated on its rear. I estimated it to be about 10' standing. A bit intimidating. The idea of following them in the dark, having seen close up how big they were, seemed foolhardy. My options were: collect evidence, OR live for another day and have this stupid story the rest of my life. Prudence won out. I have a stupid story now. If these creatures are determined to fit into the Homo genus, they are human..........by definition. This changes (or potentially changes) almost everything; legally, scientifically, morally, religiously, and environmentally. Adding another link in the chain or branch in the tree is not a problem. We discovered gorillas in 1902 and the world didn't spin off its axis. I don't see why finding Bigfoot would be any different. wiiawiwb
Which is why government wants no part of it. Too much trouble restructuring a nearly endless series of laws that would have to be enacted in an endless number of aspects of life. The better solution from its perspective is to just make the problem go away by whatever means necessary.

If no one has brought in a Bigfoot or started mass killing them, I don't think that finding one would set off this wild chain reaction and all of sudden we'd be drowning in Sasquatch corpses. Rubbish I say, rubbish! Twist, the BFs know everything we are up to up front because, according to habituators, they read our minds and communicate telepathically. Habituators call them teachers and give them names. The habituators obey the BF and they are told not to take photos. Makes perfect sense why we don't have photos from habituators! If what the habituators are telling was true, then I would lean towards believing these are deceptive demons or that the habituators need meds.
