Hello.  My name is Jeff and I am from Toronto, Canada.  I became interested in the Bigfoot phenomenon back around 2000, long before YouTube, when I watched a Bigfoot documentary on TV and was taken about at how compelling it was.  Since then I've read several books on the subject, by authors including John Green, Jeff Meldrum and David Daegling.

Hi guys. New member here and have been highly obsessed with the bigfoot subject recently and have really gotten into the scientific research and personal accounts. My cousin had an encounter recently down around his home while out hiking in Southeast Ohio and the way he told it to me combined with some things that have happened to him and I down in that same area has made me highly interested in the topic. I've also gotten him and I into the Sasquatch Chronicles podcast with Wes Gerber and what a fantastic show! Just looking for good discussions and maybe some things I'm missing out on.

New member here. Have been pretty fascinated with Sasquatch for a few years now. I’m not necessarily a full on believer, but I’m 100% open minded to the topic and would like to continue broadening my database of knowledge. I’ve listened to every Bigfoot podcast I can think of, read bfro reports, watched every video of sightings I could find….. I say all of that to say this. 85% of them, I’m very skeptical. However, the other 15% I’ve found VERY interesting.Thus, here I am ha

Hello All! I'm new here, and have had a fascination with Sasquatch/Bigfoot since I was 8 years old and saw "The Legend of Boggy Creek" at our local theater in a small town in Arkansas. I've spent a lot of time in the outdoors over the past 50 years, and never had a sighting, but have heard some things I can't quite explain. Anyway, glad to be here.

Hello! I am from Alberta- I live a few hours from where there have been a a large amount of sightings (supposedly). I really had no idea Alberta was such a hot spot! This has gotten me really interested in the phenomenon although I am very skeptic. I am an avid coulee hiker however have not spent a lot of time hiking in the woods admittedly. I have spent quite a few hours (30+) going as deep into the web, Alberta outdoorsman forums, Youtube, FB, etc- in order to find more anecdotal evidence, and personal evidence from people that are local to me- makes it that much more interesting I guess. Depending on how I phrase my google search it seems to return more and more interesting information that isn't all readily available on the surface. My girlfriend thinks i'm a bit crazy- but am willing to treat this as an experiment in stigma. I also have thoroughly examined as many clips as I can find, listened to interviews with Ken Walker, Meldrum, Gimlin, and a bunch of others. I am really trying to put a thorough picture together for myself utilizing all the information available to me in 2022. Lastly, I am really hoping someone can point me in the right direction on where I can find more info/ clips on Phillip Morris supposed recreation of the Patty suit. I believe it was a TV special where Bob H puts on the suit and attempts to recreate Patty's gate- but cant find any clips from it to compare the enhanced Patterson Gibins. I have assembled a list of Alberta specific info- and a some independent youtube series that I find incredibly interesting at the very least! Message me if you are interested in seeing what I have put together.

I was active in boy scouts for many years and our scout leader would take whoever could come up with the 200 dollar fee on a two week trip in which we traveled from Massachusettes to Maine around late may to early june. I was lucky enough to make it at least twice and we would rent six canoes and take them to East Mechias along the Saco river, load them into the river and paddle down to our cabin deep in the woods. One day several of us decided to take two canoes across the 30 feet to the other side which was even deeper in. we exited our canoes and after finding the appropiate sticks to walk with, making us feel like mountain men, we started in. about 100 feet and turning a corner, all of the sudden it was like a boom just out of our sight like someone drop a car from 10 feet up is the only way i can explain it. We stopped dead in our tracks, there was nothing there, and we dropped our sticks and ran for home. Pur scoutmaster said it was probably a moose getting up after being disturbed by us which i still say no moose smelled like that.

Hello BF Forumers,

 

I am joining you from the UK, Just to drop a little info into who I am and what my situation is. I was born in South Africa, grew up there and then moved with my wife to the UK at the end of 2019. I have always been an outdoors person, I love camping and nature. I have never really thought about big foot deeply until recently. I have always watched and researched an number of legends and myths of the world and my honest opinion is that they only exist because there is an element of truth to them. Growing up I have had my own experiences with certain unexplained phenomenon and this has pushed me to adopt a health inquisitive nature about such things. 

 

So what has brought me here is that I am interested in understanding the unknown. I am an Engineering Technician by trade and I like to adopt a logical approach to figuring out what requires answers. 

 

The main reason why I jumped on the forum is because I have evidence (recording) of something unexplained I'd like to share am gets dome input. I am not too sure however where I can share this recording with everyone to take a look at. It's a scream sound of an animal I have never heard before which comes from the forest not far from my house in the Chiltern Hills area. This happens always around the same time I'd say between 02:00 and 02:40 in the morning. I have heard it about 4 or 5 times but this time I took a 2min recording. The scream is loud and it echos through the forest. I'd really like to get some input here. My next step is to get hold of a trail cam and set it up roughly where I heard the sound coming from.

Hello from Washington State.  I've always been interested in Bigfoot, don't have any personal experiences (my brothers both do, it's a pretty good story), but I definitely lean to the "I believe" side if I had to choose.  Spend lots of time in the forest hunting, camping and backpacking.  Didn't know this forum existed, kind of found it by accident and I look forward to reading the information available here.
