Thanks man.   I don't have too much to share really but just an interest in the topic.

Nothing to share is fine by me, just glad to have you.

Greetings, all. I'm in Western North Carolina. My first and only 100% encounter was on a BFRO expedition. The report is here: http://bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp?id=13083.

I was not a believer when i went on the expedition. When I returned, I had to take a very long time to process and re-tool for what all of us experienced.

Over the past 15 years I have only slid farther into the bigfoot thing, periodically leaving and revisiting it. For the past few years I've listened to some excellent podcasts and have gotten to know a few researchers so I'm guessing I'm into this to stay. Today, I heard the new Bigfoot & Beyond podcast with Cliff Barackman and guest Mark Myrsell, and they mentioned this forum. So of course I ran my errands, came home, and here I am.

Goals. I'd like to talk squatch in the southeast, especially in the mountains around me. There are very good reports and audio that have held off my belief that they are, for some reason, just not here. I've been getting out seasonally for the expressed purpose of light research but I'd like to dive deeper. I have no night gear, little time for the field, I'm a bit weird, and I'm broke. However! I'm a good camp mate, I have a biology background, I'm an outdoorsman and a naturalist, and I am an excellent camp cook. I'm 48 yo. Married. Two kids. I'm currently on furlough due to the pandemic, but I typically work in the horticulture field. In the past I've written for magazines. I'm currently working towards a degree in marketing.

@hillborn

Welcome!

I operate around the Western North Carolina/Upstate South Carolina/North Georgia area myself.

These are some old old mountains around here with a long history of strange occurrences.  It doesn't get the same attention of the Pacific Northwest, but there are bigs areas around these mountains that rarely see humans past the first natural obstacle.

Yeah I saw that myself. Not quite sure why I would receive a downvote for welcome a

new member.

I really am pleased I found this site. I have been interested in this topic for quite some time. I have recently been looking to buy property in WV. It is in an area where there have many reports of this being. I have heard reports from hunters and hikers in my state (VA). I have never experienced an encounter. I have camped in the areas of CA where there have been many sightings. This is in the area of Willets/Fort Bragg. I look forward to learning from other members of this forum....Best wishes

Hey Bigfoot Forum

I’ve been interested in Bigfoot since I was very young. Being from the UK documentary’s didn’t come on very often but I’d make a point to always watch them. I loved the idea that there was a massive animal out there undiscovered and still am. I believe that they are out there and are flesh and blood animals that we are getting closer than ever to discovering and would like to join these forums to get new info and perspective on things. Thanks
