hiflier Posted February 1, 2021 Share Posted February 1, 2021 I plop the Sasquatch into the primate lineage after the Chimpanzee split. It means there was another Last Common Ancestor after the split that gave rise to the more physically advanced Sasquatch as well as the proto-Humans. Then Sasquatches split off and proto-Humans went on, via genetic mutation/variation, to develop larger brains and higher cognitive function.
