Guest Biggie
Guns? That doesn't sound right. The BFRO does not allow people to carry guns on expeditions. I'm wondering if he's confusing the BFRO for some other organization. If I remember right Matt said on his forum that his family's last name was changed to that from Goldmaker after WWII when they relocated to the states so it would not be obviously Jewish to any people who would want to harm or kill them. Guest fire eyes
Ummm. Yes that is the first name aswell. I have no idea who this person is, but I've been told to stay clear of him & this BFRO. Don't know if they are linked, guess i don't really care sounds like a big jerk! Guest fire eyes
The jewish name change, well i dont belive that. I grew up with a jewish girl & i remember her gma saying that they would eliminate any thing from there names that had to do with gold, silver, money ect so sounds like a faker to me. Guest Kat
FE are you sure that you're not talking about Tom Biscardi? IMO the BFRO is a pretty well respected group. MM may be a bit of a show off but I think his heart is in the right place. Don't believe what every one tells you. Take it all with a grain/pound of salt IMO.

MM makes a living off the "search" for the creature, no matter how pure his motives might/might not be that rubs many people the wrong way. Let's face it if and when the species is recognized the money will move into the realm of academia and scientific research; people with P's, H's, D's and Dr. will takeover serious study and the rest of us may well be referred to with the same disdain as Tim Treadwell no matter how much amazing footage we may continue to contribute. Think about that. Personally I could care less. Patterson and Gimlin where hoping to make a buck as well and that's okay. Who among us would not parlay their passion into a living if they could manage it? If people want to pay MM to take them out in the woods why not, at least they are out there with their collective butts in the mud looking and sometimes finding some valuable information. As slick as MM is I to think he is much like myself and many others....he just wants to see it again. I had another thought, you stated "I was just walking the banks & sandbars near cedar rock in early june (i pick up clam shells for art)" It's possible that this creature may have viewed you curiously as competition for the clams and wanted to see what you where doing with them and was prepared to frighten you away. Guest parnassus
What do you think of the BFRO telling people that Bigfoot herds deer? What valuable information has been discovered by the paying customers?
Guest
Slabdog, i will help in anyway i can. I will have to get the ok from these people before giving out there info. I was warned that that bad people (BFRO) monitor these forums so i have to be very careful. I dont want to be the blame for a bunch of idiots comming here & tearing things up & changing things maybe forever. This sighting is my own & i dont want to ruin it by getting the wrong people involved. I can give out the jerks name i spoke of so everyone else is aware of him & his people? They may be able to read this public thread, but I can assure you that no one, including BFF staff, reads member's Private Messages. You can take that to the bank. Guest
What do you think of the BFRO telling people that Bigfoot herds deer? What valuable information has been discovered by the paying customers? Herding deer denotes "maintaining" them. We have a herd of cattle here on our farm. Potentially following elk or deer migration patterns is not the same thing imho. Going where they go, or keeping track of where they are is not the same thing. My ancestors did this (followed herds) while Europe was still wallowing in the dark ages and prior. I have heard MM mention a theory of Sasquatch driving deer toward others to make the kill. That's exactly what we did here in East Texas when I was a kid. My uncle Duncan would show up with a .300 mag over his shoulder and a case of Schlitz in the back of his pickup and say "Boy's let's go make a drive, I got em hemmed up!" He would drop us off along a logging road, spread about 100 yards and armed, then he would circle back around with the dogs and drive the deer over us to shoot." (reminds of one day day when he went to circle around us and could not get any of his deer dogs to get out of the bed of the truck..weird) It was effective and very illegal even if it was our own land in season. I see no reason why a potentially social and even moderately intelligent creature would not do the same thing, hell maybe we learned it from them? My drunken uncle was capable of it and Sasquatch might arguably be a proverbial brain-child by comparison. It's the way hunts where conducted in India for generations as well. It's common sense. As for "valuable" findings that can be somewhat subjective I admit depending on the individual point of view. But to say that the BFRO hasn't made contributions in the search for evidence would be unfair. Any casting, photograph of possible activity, recordings, thermals, video, hair, scat, sighting interviews or interaction would be considered data regardless if it's proven to be unrelated or not. Negative data is still data. If a person spends 500 to go on an outing that's their business, if they hear one possible vocalization and the hair on their necks and arms stands on end or see one footprint that might be enough to set their mind ablaze and get them into the arena on their own, who knows? That individual may the one to someday break the whole thing wide open and get that trailcam video, HD virtual mini-series of a Sasquatch in the wild or plow into one in their Country Squire while cruising some forest service road, or better yet fantastic still-photo of a 13 footer playing on the slip-n-slide at 2:00am. People pour billions into Vegas and the Lottery, fat chance, I'll take the odds on Sasquatch being proven, even if it is following behind MM and his entourage or crazy ole Dallas and Wayne (Two guys TB screwed royally JMO)

A fork in a tree, or a tall stump works well for leaving the goodies. One time I hooked apples to stiff wire, used a walking stick and hung some from tree limbs up around 7' high which eliminates most animals from reaching up. What makes you think the BF was not that fellow in a monkey suit? What features made it seem real?
Guest
I think Moneymaker is his real name. Who would change their name TO Moneymaker? BFRO mods may not read PMs but if the posters think so, and I know some do, that right there tells you people are paranoid. Posters are very guarded in their remarks, I assure you. Do not depart from the BFRO party line or they are not nice about it. I've never been banned or warned on any site, but I never know what it is okay to say there. They often surprise me. I think they don't want everyone to know too much.
Guest ChrisBFRPKY
Guys, let's please stay away from trashing any Bigfoot communities or their leaders. This is an excellent thread and a great sighting report from member Fire Eyes. There are some details mentioned I find very interesting. The sand bar and the clam shells are two noteworthy details IMO. We've found large piles of clam/river muscle shells here in KY on and near sand bars in remote areas with known creature activity. I don't know for a fact that the creatures eat these, but I think they might. Someone finding the same types of evidence in other areas peaks my interest. The evidence leaning toward them eating shellfish is sounding better by the minute. I've always considered that the best place to cross a river is where there's a sand bar midstream.(common sense too IMO) As far as what to do next? Well, welcome to the World of being a Bigfoot witness Fire Eyes. Where you go from here is up to you my friend. If you're excited about it and want to learn more about the creatures, you've picked a good place to start. There's alot of great info on these pages. If it were me, I guess I'd get back to the exact location and search for things like, tracks, broken limbs, scat samples etc. I'd also check the bend at any limb breaks for things like hair/tissue. And keep in mind, you may have another sighting. Weirder things have happened. Whatever you decide to do, best of luck to you. Chris B.
Guest fire eyes
Tautriadelta, wow i never thought about that, maybe it was protecting its food source. Thats why it made its self visible & made that low pig like grunt sound. Georgerm,no i dont belive it was that guy. He is only like 5'9" 200lbs. This thing was 7' 500lbs at best guess? Bad smell lol. No, it wasn't human or monkey suit. Chris B, thank you for the welcome. I'm learning so much here! Edited: removed double post. Chris B.
